I have started filling up my express entry profile. I am confused as to what should I put under "field of study" for my secondary education (as it includes language, math, science, humanities, art and PE)?

You will get PR status along with them if you are part of their application as an accompanying spouse. The link you've posted isn't about spouses/common-law partners of Permanent Residents.

YES. You have almost all privileges of citizens except you can't vote and apply for jobs that require very high security clearance that is available only to citizens. However, you need a license from the province if your occupation is regulated in Canada.

I got ITA recently (18th draw) and now in process of collecting documents. My query is regarding Police certificate.

1) I lived in 3 different cities(same country) in last 10 years. My understanding is I need Police certificate only from the city I am staying now. Please correct me if wrong?

2) The document upload field says "Police Certificates (Multiple) (required)". What do they mean by "multiple" here?

I just need to clarify that thing --> sent directly by the institution. What happened to me is that I requested my transcript and ask to put in the school's envelope but not sealed because I have yet to include the diploma that's with me. I ask them to courier to me the envelope unsealed (because I graduated in the province and I am in the Capital City). I have read in some part that it needs to be sealed and stamp by the Registrar's Office at the back side of the envelope however I tried to ask the school if they have those stamp and told me there's none

Is my work-around acceptable?

At least the envelope's flap needs to be sealed. I don't think they'll accept documents that are in an open envelope. You might have to re-send the transcripts.

Wrong. You need police certificates from all the countries where you have stayed for 6 months or more (at a stretch) since you were 18 plus you need the PCC of the current country of residence too.



You need only one PCC per country.

Some people might be in a scenario where they would have to submit multiple PCC (because they would have lived in multiple countries). That's what the "multiple" represents.

Oops. Sorry, my bad. I though you lived in 3 different countries.

You just need once PCC per country.

Hello Everyone,

I need some help on a urgent basis as I am unable to fill out my Express entry profile. I have faced the following issues when completing the profile-

1. Education History: I have a BSc Hons in Applied Accounting & ACCA membership. I have studied both in Bangladesh but the qualifications are from United Kingdom (certificates are issued from United Kingdom). So which country should I choose for "Country of Study" in the express entry form?

2. 1112 Financial and investment analysts- This employment requirements of this NOC states that a Bachelor degree is required. But I actually performed the duties in this NOC before completing the Bachelor degree? Can I include this experience in my profile?

3. Work Experience: I started working before completing my graduation (while studying ACCA and BSc Hons in Applied Accounting). I am not sure which experiences can I input in the express entry form? Below is my timeline consisting of education and work experiences.

Education-
2007- Completed O-levels
2009- Completed A-levels
2010- Started Graduation (BSc Hons) and a Professional qualification (ACCA)
2014- Completed both Graduation and ACCA

Work Experiences-
Dec 2011 to Nov 2012: Worked as an Accounts Assistant working 40 hours as a salaried employee
Jan 2013 to Aug 2014: Worked as a Financial Analyst working 44 hours as a salaried employee
Sept 2014 to Present: Working as an Analyst for 44 hours as a salaried employee

4. I want to take my spouse with me to Canada, will she be able to work full time as well?

5. Is there any complications if we both create separate Express Entry profiles, meaning I will create a profile having her as my spouse and the vice versa?

fwict the sealed thing is most important. even if you don't have copies of transcripts from all your semesters it might still be positively evaluated by wes. at least that was the case with me.

to clarify... i never collected my final semester transcript and so i sent photocopies of the other 3 semesters along with the wes request t my college. i was concerned with the same issue and so ordered 2 sets of transcripts. i sent one set to wes and tore open the other to find that they just attested the copies i sent. still don't have my final sem transcript but i got masters degree evaluation from wes despite that.
