I have few relevant certifications that I would like to add as a part of my application. Some of these are courses over a few months and some are even shorter.

In the options that I see from the drop down in the "Study" Section, I dont find any relevant. What can I do?

Absolutely NO downside to choosing 'All Territories'. Or you can choose specific province(s) if you're sure that you will never ever need a nomination opportunity from other provinces that you've left unmarked. Your call.

Just curious to know. How do you know that there isn't any downside. According to me if a candidate is applying for more than one territories, then the probability of being nominated by any one territory goes down

Looking at the "Six selection factors – Federal skilled workers" Kind of depressed me
I am scoring as follows, any views on my chances to get through the express entry pool?

1. Language : English IELTS score 8 - Score = 20
2. Education : Score = 23
3. Experience : Score = 15
4. Age : Score = 11
5. Arranged Employment : Score = 0
6. Relatives : Score = 0

Total Score 69

Attestation of documents from Pakistan?

Hi

I have heard that CEC is not asking for HEC and IBCC attestation but they have mentioned on their website

Please guide me. OR what about other attestation agencies like WES, ICAS, IQAS or ICES??

Which is easiest and hassle free?? I prefer which does not require HEC and IBCC because my case is complicated and it will require more time and money.

Source?

My source is repeated mentions on provincial sites and CIC that one can apply to multiple provinces without affecting one's chances of securing a nomination. And members on the forum who have received invitations (and nominations) after selecting 'All Territories'.

Are these academic certifications or professional certifications? If these are professional certifications (likely to be that because these appear to be short-term) you don't have a placeholder for those under EE because they make no difference to your score.

This shows that you are eligible and that you score fairly well on IELTS. What is your CRS?

Hello, me and my girlfriend of 9 1/2 years are both British citizens, and are both 24 years old. We are considering the possibility of potentially applying for Canadian residence through the express entry skilled workers program. I have a 3 years bachelor degree in Product Design and Digital Modelling and my girlfriend has a 2 year degree in Fashion and Textiles.

I have a couple of questions -

1. - This might sound stupid but if I were to successful and I was married to my long term girlfriend is she automatically a 'plus one' on my application and doesn't have to have a standalone application?

2. - Since I finished university (2 1/2yrs) I have been working in a pharmaceutical supply company, the closest occupation to my job role is listed as NOC 9232 - Pharmaceutical Process Operator. Although this job isn't directly linked to my degree field is it still considered work experience in a professional job for myself?

3. - When do immigration require proof of the $12'000 amount? Is it on actual entry to the country when relocating or before you apply?

Thanks - Michael. ;D

Hello!

Could you please advise how to show a maternity leave period in EE work history form? During my maternity leave I was officially employed but didn't work.

I'm assuming you weren't paid as well. If that is the case, this will be counted as unpaid vacation and you'll have to split your employment into 2 parts while showcasing that in EE.

These are professional certifications not academic. They are very relevant to the kind of work that I do / my designation. If there was a place i could put my resume, that would be ideal!

They are likely to be very useful when you're trying to find a job in Canada. Unfortunately, they add nothing to your EE profile.
