Thank you for the reply! But how about my friend who got an job offer with LMIA? Does she need to show proof of funds?

Anyone with an LMI supported job offer (and consequently 600 additional CRS points) is exempted from POF requirements.

Thank you so much Asivad! Thats a big relief to her. Now she can start making her profile to express entry!

Hello everyone,

I have a question regarding Express Entry and if you are currently on a work permit.

Do the conditions on the permit matter when you are submitting the application? Or what matters is that the work permit is valid and you are working full time.

By conditions I mean the permit shows Employment city Hamilton and then later on they decide to move to Toronto will that be an issue?

Thanks

That wouldn't matter to your PR application.

Hi Asvid and everyone.
It may sound a stupid question but I want to confirm. For documents with multiple pages eg passport, POF etc I m scanning all of them and creating one PDF file and uploading them. As individual pages can't be uploaded. Is that right way ?

I have trips to USA which I mentioned along with the address where I stayed majorly ( my brothers house) but being tourist I visited many places for which I don't remember dates and address. Is that required??

My parents passport only has first name. I explored on this and found somewhere in Canada tourist visa section that first name should be written in last name box and in first name box N/a is to be written. Is that right ??

In activities for last 10 years. The time period I was unemployed I wrote N/A is job position and employer name box. Is that right ?
Thanks

Yes. 1 pdf per placeholder.

Not required.

Yes. And explain this using an LOE.

Yes.

Thanks

Just your highest degree would normally do but in your case, get both of them because both your degrees appear to be from different fields of study and there is a chance that your Masters is evaluated as Bachelors and, in that case, you would be able to select the 'Two or more degrees...' option.

Hi all,

I am going to submit my application for ECA, however, I also have to get my passport renewed. I would like to know if I can submit make my WES profile with my existinh passport number and then finally apply my Express Entry form with new passport number ? Will that be ok or it will create any conflict at the time of filing the application ?

This is possible. You can explain the discrepancy in an LOE (Letter of Explanation) while submitting documents post ITA.

Thanks ASIVAD...

Another question is...
Currently my Indian Passport doesnot have Spouse name ( as I got it when i was Single) .
But now I am MARRIED. So, should I get my passport updated with spouse name or is it fine if I provide my marriage certificate as my proof of marriage and provide the same current passport(empty spouse name) while filing the application.

I imagine either of those are fine. If you have time (and it doesn't take too long), no harm in getting spouse's name added into the passport. One less thing to explain to CIC...
