Don’t know your CRS score but if around 480 you may get an ITA. If not look at PNPs.

I was just checking my CRS scores and while filling up the form I came across question 7
can you or anybody please explain what the following question means and how to get one based on my qualification:
Do you have a certificate of qualification from a Canadian province, territory or federal body?

You answer NO. You are not in a trade.

Hi guys,

I'm creating my EE profile and I need some clarification with my WES Evaluation Report.

WES evaluated my education as a "Postgraduate Diploma (2 years)" only.

I'm not sure which option I have to choose under the Level of Education;

The options are:

-Two or more certificates, diplomas, or degrees.
-Bachelor’s degree or other programs (three or more years) at a university, college, trade or technical school, or other institute
-One year program at University, college, trade or technical school, or other institute
-Two year program at University, college, trade or technical school, or other institute
-Master Degree or Professional degree

I have already read similar scenarios on other threads with slight differences.

Others usually get WES reports that state "Bachelor's Degree (four years)" and "Postgraduate Diploma (two years)" as their Canadian equivalency for instance.

For such people, I read that they have to add each level of education separately to earn points for "two or more certificates or degrees" in their EE profile.

My question here is my report states only "Postgraduate diploma (two years)",
should I still go ahead and add my bachelor's education separately since a postgraduate diploma usually means one has already completed a bachelor's degree? or should I choose "two-year programme at University".

Thank you.

You select two year program unless you have an ECA for your bachelor degree (at least 3 years).

Hi, I'd like some help regarding filling up my "Personal History" section post-ITA. I'd like to know what proofs are required and how is the background check made. I am making the following points and would be grateful if someone can help me out.

  • March 2011-July 2016: Completed my Bachelor degree, in Medicine (ECA done, claiming points for it)
  • July 2016-November 2016: I was unemployed at that time and was preparing for my Pre-Registration Entrance Exams (PREE) for internship in government hospitals (How do I mention it in this section?)
    • Received a provisional registration certificate in August 2016 (Do I need to mention it somewhere or attach it to my documents, with a LOE? If so, in which section?)
  • December 2016-February 2017: I was unemployed, as I was awaiting internship in government hospital (How do I mention it in this section?)
  • February 2017-August 2018: Completed my internship in government hospital (Matched NOC, claiming points for it)
  • August 2018-December 2018: I was unemployed at that time as I was preparing for my Registration Exams (How do I mention it in this section?)
    • Received a registration certificate in December 2018 (Do I need to mention it somewhere or attach it to my documents, with a LOE?)
  • December 2018-August 2019: I was unemployed and looking for a job (Can I mention "looking for a job" in this section?)
  • August 2019-November 2019: I started working for a company doing domiciliary visits. I am claiming any points for this as I could not gather any reference letters, employment letter/contracts or pay slips/paystubs. Only a bank deposit was made into my account (Do I need a LOE for this?)
  • November 2019-January 2020: I was unemployed and looking for a job, but I was also preparing for my PLAB exams (UK) at that time. Because of the pandemic, I cancelled my exams booking which was due in March 2020. (How do I mention it in this section, can I write "unemployed"?)
  • January 2020-March 2021: I was doing some domiciliary visits and consultation in a private pharmacy occasionally, however I was only paid in cash during that time. I was looking for a job during that time (How to mention it in my Personal History? Can I write a LOE for it?)
  • On September 2020, I started a Masters degree course and completed one academic year, however in November 2021, I took a study break during my second academic year and resumed in September 2022. However, because of some personal commitment, I decided to drop out of the course and got awarded a PG Cert in November 2022. (How can I formulate this in this section?)
