I have now submitted my passport for visa stamp for SINP. Does someone know how long it takes to get the passport back?

The processing time should be same at the local VFS where you have submitted the passport.

Hi everyone, question: should my job title be the same as the one from a reference letter? or if my NOC is 2282 (which is "IT helpdesk"), can I say that my job title is IT helpdesk? Thanks.

Mention the Job Titles as per your Salary slips or reference letter. it should be similar or matching NOC code.

I have applied for an EE (express entry)profile on March which was eligible, now my ielts has expired and i got a message that my profile is not eligible any more.

on the other side I have a MPNP (Manitoba) profile which I have submitted on 1st of April 2022 and it is under assessment since few days only.

Do i need to get a new ielts test for the MPNP or the officer will do the evaluation based on the available ielts at the time of submission?

do i need to creat a new EE? Or just get the new ielts and update the existing profile?

If you received MPNP EOI and you have submitted your documents/complete application to MPNP for review, then your IELTS Score will be locked unless there is an outcome. However, if you will get approved and MPNP issues you 600 points, those points will be added to your Express Entry profile. For that matter, your profile should be eligible. So better re-appear in IELTS, so that your profile becomes eligible again. Then Update MPNP about your new profile number so that they can add 600 points to the eligible profile.

1) How much time did it take to receive the card?
2) Was it delivered to your mail box? or you had to show some ID to the delivery person?

The Second question : Its delivered to the address (MAILBOX). No "Show ID" required.

Hello,

I have created a new express entry profile yesterday as I just received the CELPIP-G score. After creating the profile, I can see ZERO points marked against Canadian Education (full time 2 years Masters program, which I did remotely due to COVID, between September 2020 - April 2022. As per IRCC, students affected by COVID and who have done their education remotely between March 2020-August 2022 will get full points, but that is not the case for me.

Do I wait for them to update the points? I have answered 'No' to the following questions:
1. Did you complete at least 50% of the study or training program's courses through in-person learning?
2. Did you study in Canada for at least 8 months in order to earn this degree, diploma or certificate?

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Hey guys, just got my passport mailed with the visa. Just a quick question tho, now that I have it, is that the only document I need to bring when traveling to Canada? Or is there another document I need to bring? Like for instance my proof of funds? Thanks!

I came in 2018 and I brought following
1. Passport (Of course)
2. COPR document
3. Funds Balance Certificate
4. Address where I am going to, for PR card Delivery

They never asked for Funds, but asked for the rest.

Till today, I heard two of my knowns who were asked about funds. I dont know if they are asking these days.

Dear members, could you please take a look at my case? I'm super confused!

1) Currently I do have 2 years and 10 months of work exp. Can I submit my application now, and claim that I have 3 years of work exp.? What I'm thinking is, even if I get an ITA around October-November 2022, I'll have my 3 years anniversary on November 1st, 2022. Or do I need to wait till November 1st to actually meet this criteria?

2) I know that the system calculates work experience from month/01st to month/31st. My CV:

• Company X: 23 Sept, 2019 - 29 Oct, 2021 (2 years and 1 month) --> Question: what's my start date? Is it September or October? Technically I started in September but if I choose "September" the system will think I was working from the beginning of the month. According to this logic, October seems more like the truth? (???)
• Company Y: 01 Nov, 2021 - present (10 months so far) --> Question: I'm planning to submit my profile on 01 Nov, 2022 to meet the "3 years work exp." criteria, so I write it as: 01 Nov, 2021 - till Oct, 2022 or Nov, 2022?

Am I overthinking everything? Lol

Hi Sir,

I have my work experience in India for 2 years but the company did not provide us the offer of employment copy as are hired after the internship with them. Now when I mailed them they say according to the revised company policy they cannot provide roles and responsibility documents. I now have my reliving/experience letter and payslips as proof.
Please suggest what I can do with this scenario. Do any other documents support this info for the Employee record documents with them? I worked for 2 years which helped me in reaching the points that I have now.

I tried contacting ircc through phone and web form but haven't got any response.

In addition, I was being paid in full and I have worked there for extra 3 years. Can my 2019 work experience be added to my 3 years work experience after school?

Assume this is studying outside Canada. You have to figure out your own NOCs using the database. NOC A, B or 0. If you have 3 years of experience for the other jobs, you would know the NOCs for those jobs too.
