Hi

Please advice my current employer is ready to include all other details but is not ready to mention CTC on my reference letter can that be a
problem

Thanks
Kanika
you need to have a separate letter for salary then... and combine it with the job duties letter. both dont necessarily have to be on the same page.

Hi all,
I require a help..really confused..
I have a total experience of 3.3 years in the same employer with same NOC code
The only problem is that I worked for 1.8 years and then had a year break then joined back and worked for 1.7 years.i do have a minimum eligibility for the FSWP stream of 1 year and full time. However my consultant is saying they cant count the months since Cic says it should be continous so can consider only 2 years only.. I am loosing my points here :(

My next question is when we create the express entry profile how the tool consider our total work experience points??? Crs tool in CIC website I had to enter my years of experience.

I am new here. Appreciate your time and responses. Wish luck to all aspirants here..lovely group

Hi,

You indeed have 3,3 years of experience. You only need to have 1 year of continuous experience, the rest can be accumulated over a 10 years period.

I don't know where your consultant is getting their information. These are the official requirements :

Failed to paste the link, Google FSWP requirements.

Same way was my thinking.. In CIC website also it says the same, I did question them several times regarding this. They stick to 2 years, whatever they say hope when I input my details during the EE profile creation system gives me points for 3 years.. Thanks a lot, this gives a bit relief..I am just in the starting phase

If you can't get this separate letter you can add your payslips and explain in your LOE.

there is absolutely no way of knowing for sure.

though i have to inform you that CRS score fell to 414 or something earlier this year... but whether it will fall again to those levels is a different question.
Well one thing for sure is that they want more skilled immigrants to enter Canada. So if you are in the 430s one will definitely be competitive.

Thats is the best option ever..i was cautious about filling the documents and convenience.. Need to rethink. How about you?? Which stage, doing it alone?
Doing everything alone, like most people here. It's possible if you are willing to put in time and effort.

Hello People,

I am a newbie to this website and thread. So kindly pardon me if I am not posting at the correct thread. Me and my wife recently took the IELTS in June and both got 8.5. Question: Who should be the primary applicant? - If I am a primary applicant then CRS is 466 but if my wife is then it's 479.
We are from India but finished our masters from US. I worked as Telecom Engineer in India for 6+ years and as a Management Consultant (in Telecom/Cable) in US for 2+ years on H1B. My wife worked in Online Marketing/SEO for 5 years prior to her masters.

I was thinking of making my wife Primary Applicant since that gets us the maximum CRS score. But I heard that Ontario is trying to attract ICT professionals, so thought that maybe I should be primary?

P.S - we have just sent our degrees to WES, and will go to Sheriff country for Fingerprinting next week.

With such high scores you won't need Ontario PNP, you can both get ITA directly.

So for me the question is who can get all their documents fast and with the least hustle? Whoever can do that should be the principal applicant.

All the best.

Thanks TanakaM,

Could you please expand on "get all their documents fast"? What documents do I need? As per my understanding I need 1) IELTS 2) WES 3) Police Verification 4) Medical (to be triggered after ITA) 5) Proof of funds 6) Experience letter (Does having offer letter, appraisal letter, resignation letter counts as experience letter)?
Again, sorry for the newbie querries.

Thanks a lot Tanaka for your guidance. Wish you best..
Just a quick question Tanaka.. So in short if I create the EE profile the system will take my total 3.3 years of experience and allot me appropriate scores equalent to 3 years right?? This was accrued with in 10 years time. Even though I have a year gap in between.

Hi,

I'm upto the stage of submitting my documents and frankly speaking, I find this forum to be VERY MUCH helpful than most consultants could ever be. I suggest you as @TanakaM suggested, doing it yourself, assuming you don't have very special cases for which you need expert guidance.

All the best.
