Dear All

I have got Nova Scotia Nomination on 26th June. My overall score is 891. There was a draw in 26th June but I did not get ITA yet. Can you please suggest me what should be my next step now.

I have another query regarding CIC application. I have completed 3 years Bachelor degree and a 1 year Master degree. In my credential assessment for these two degrees they have mentioned:
1. Bachelor's Degree (Three years)
2. One Addition Year of University Study

But in summary it was mentioned that it is equivalent Bachelor's Degree( Four Years).

I have mentioned in CIC application that is "Two or more certificates, diploma or degrees, one must three years or more"

Will they consider it as two certificates. Please suggest me.

I guess I will just send copy of our certifications to WES and see what they finally accept. In this case, should I just add copy of the certificates in the same envelope as that of university transcript? I'm not sure if there is any official transcript that I can get for my certification from KPMG (where I did the course).

First check if sending this certification is even relevant in the first place. Try the WES provisional evaluation to see if it is even possible to get these certificates assessed by them under ECA. I still think it wouldn't be possible but give it a try if you want.

On another note, can I get the ECA first and then start the EE application??

Having the ECA, IELTS and job bank registration is mandatory to activate your EE profile. The system will ask you for ECA reference number which you won't have till you get their report.

Maybe your profile just missed the draw deadline. Wait for the next draw and you'll definitely get an ITA.

I think you should put in Bachelors only. Anyways, it won't make a difference because you have those additional 600 points to qualify for an ITA.

Do exactly as your personalized checklist says. Here is the generic checklist from CIC on Passports.

To confirm identity

Document requirements

A clear and legible copy of the bio data page must be provided.

Individuals who must submit this documentation

The principal applicant
Their spouse or common-law partner
Their accompanying dependent children

Currently I am working in Qatar. I am interested to migrated to Canada through Express Entry. I am 42 years old holding bachelor degree with more than 10 years experience (full time) in administration. I have two kids. I would like to know what is the minimum mark should I score in IELTS.

Hi all, I officially decided to give this express entry thing a shot last month. I am a Financial Analyst while my wife is a Marketing Manager. We are both doing the English Test this month, I have sent our documents to WES, the transcripts also got there this morning. I have read about New Brunswick monthly draw, and also Saskatchewan Profile still Opened. My question is as follows:
1. Is Nova Scotia still opened? (My occupation is on the demand list).
2. Can i apply separately and my wife separately our codes are both on the list and our occupations isn't regulated.
3. My wife has a cousin in Manitoba, and a friend in Saskatchewan, so she wants to apply to the two provinces while i apply to New Brunswick and nova Scotia.
4. We are both less than 35 years and have 7 years work experience each?
5. I have Bsc in Finance and also a one off certificate in ifrs by acca, but i sent only my transcript for bsc, do i need to send the certificate in ifrs to get more points. My wife hasnot finished her masters but she has a certificate of achievement in one of the courses by a university in france(online module), can she get more points too for that?
5. Is our profile viable?.

Should I change the degree in MyCIC now. Without this I could not apply for lack of one point (previous eligible point scale of 67). Should I change it now. Is there any impact of changing.

Don't make any changes which renders your profile ineligible. Not advisable or you might end up locking your profile and the PN along with it.

Your EE profile will be ineligible immediately after your birthday.

now plz tell me one thing.. I have applied for SINP and my application is in process, let say if i got invitation from them but my birthday will be reached before final decision from CIC then ......???? As far as i understand EE profile is mandatory for SINP

The only time your age stops mattering is AFTER getting an ITA. Till then, your CRS score (and in the background, your program eligibility) is affected by your birthday.

If you get a provincial nomination which adds 600 points to your CRS score, you will msot likely get an ITA in the next draw. If your birthday falls before the draw date and your profile becomes ineligible (because you went below 67 points), you won't get an ITA.

Hey guys can you pls help me out...i'm temporary foreign worker and my employer apply supervisor LMIA and he is saying i can be eligible for EE after getting supervisor work permit.. is it true??..as i don't have skilled experience..just holding LMIA, does it allow me for EE??..
