This message is to enquire about my wife’s education history/work history section.

I had included my wife’s degree and higher secondary details under the education history section at the pre-ITA stage. Even though we hadn’t claimed any points (NO ECA), it has been carried over to the post-ITA form. In the upload document section, we could see upload files option corresponding to my wife's education history. Please note that we have not done ECA and have not claimed points for this in the pre-ITA satge.

I could move these details to personal history. However I will have to answer ``No`` to the question: has this person completed any post-secondary education? Would this be considered as a misrepresentation.

We are encountering the same issue in her work history section as well. The documents corresponding to her each work experience is asked for, though we have not got any points for this towards ITA.

It would be of immense help if someone could guide me on how to properly answer these sections.

Hi,

You can answer NO in both her education and work history and then move all the information to personal history where no evidence is required. In your LOE, just explain than you have do so as it is not giving you any points. This is common and perfectly acceptable.

Actually i got busy in collecting the documents straightway & have not yet completed the post ITA profile.
that is the reason i didn't get the checklist.

I just hope that is not a problem & i can do it at any time..

Is there any time constraint to complete those forms ?? (post ITA)

Hi,

You have 90 days from the date of ITA to submit your application. So you have no problem at all if you are within this time frame.

Hi,
Where do we need to upload the IELTS TRF. I did not found any section for the same.
Also, For educational proofs, should we just upload the Degree Certificates or All the transcripts as well in addition to the degree certificates. The size of the file in this case is exceeding 4 MB. Please suggest.

Hi,

I only have first name on my passport and no last name.
Name on passport:
First Name: Suraj Kumar
Last Name:

However, in my WES report, I have:
First Name: Suraj
Last Name: Kumar


Will it create any problem problem for Express Entry? Is there any additional document, I can attach and explaining this issue to CIC or this way it is okay. Thanks

Enter your name as it appears on you passport and explain this in your LOE. This should be fine.

This should be ok, as transcripts normally indicated that you transferred credits. Or WES will find out in their evaluation. If they require further clarification they will contact you. When you then create your EE profile, enter details as per WES report.

I am a CIMA( Charted Institute of Management Accountants) Passed Finalist ( completed all exams but did not get my ACMA charter) and completed a Graduate Diploma(1 year) in New Zealand afterwards. I was wondering what my ECA equivalent would be under the express entry system.

This will likely equate to "two or more post-secondary program credentials, one of which was issued on completion of a post-secondary program of three years or more." How ever you wont know for sure until you contact WES: http://www.wes.org/ca/evaluations/preliminary.asp

OINP you need minimum score of 400, look at writing ielts again to improve CRS score

use http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp to see what score you will end up with , using different score combination for ielts.

OINP - you need to have minimum 400 points, while creating profile select Ontario also as preferred province to relocate. Then wait and pray they contact you to apply for their program (They will contact you, you cannot contact them)

if you can get your score over 415, you can apply directly to IRCC without OINP. OINP is a long, slow and painful process, not to mention expensive. However it guarantees you 600 extra points if and when they give you nomination

Hi,

Get whatever letter they can give you and submit it together with your payslips (particularly if the show the missing details) and any other supporting document. Alternatively, you can ask you superior to write you a notarized letter stating all the required information, then submit it together with the letter the company can give.
