Hiii All,

If anybody can help me with reagrds to hoe tough it for an employer to get positive LMIA.

1) Got to know from various Consultants that though EE claims to give you a job through Job Bank, but even if you get one, it becomes tough to pass the last stage of getting +LMIA and catch the crucial 600.

2) What abot profiles which recently have been picked at 755 and above scores, wihout crucuial 600 this score wasnt possible and +LMIA only made then to get such a score. So what has gonne in there cases to get +LMIA.

Plzzz assist as i am really confused whether to go for EE at a low CRS score of about 406 or not. No +LMIA, i get 0 out of crucial 600.

Hi guys

just a small query

Does CIC need parents passport copies as documents in the entire processing for FSW or ITA.
I don't think they ask for parents' passport copies at any point.

This is what CIC wants. I don't believe there is a standard format but I'm guessing Canadian banks would know how to present this information for CIC if you tell them the purpose.

The applicant should provide official letter(s) from financial institution(s) which list all current bank and investment accounts, as well as outstanding debts such as credit cards and loans.

The letter(s) must be printed on the letterhead of the financial institution and must include applicant's name, the contact information of the financial institution (address, telephone number and e-mail address), the account numbers, dates of when each account was opened and the current balance of each account as well as the average balance in the past six months.

Do we need this type of letter for Ontario pnp application ??? Or the bank passbook copies r sufficent ?
All the best!

Hello all,
I am a bit confused about the PNPs regarding closing dates.
Saskatchewan and Nova Scotia are presently on, but the question is for how long?
Can anyone enlighten me on this? Are these PNPs yearly programs and does anyone know the closing date for SINP?
I am asking because, SINP requires me to be registered with APEGS and get a letter from the regulatory body. But APEGS will only issue the letter after I register with them - a process that can last 1 year.
So I am thinking what is the point of filing for SINP if a major requirement (APEGS membership) may not be achieved until 1 year later.
I believe I just don't understand the process so I will appreciate anyone that can explain.

Thanks

This letter is for CIC purposes because that's how they want it. OOPNP application guide in Sec 3.4 (Pg 12) clearly indicates what they are looking for depending on the bank account being inside or outside Canada. For OOPNP, follow those guidelines.

Job bank isn't completely active yet. You can search for jobs but employers can't search for your profile. Given the conservative nature of most Canadian employers, it will be tough to get a job while sitting outside Canada. On top of it, getting an LMIA approved job is virtually impossible to secure from an online forum like the job bank. An LMIA approved job essentially means that there is no other citizen or PR holder already in Canada who is able or willing to do that job hence the employer is forced to bring in a foreigner for the same. And it is exactly as tough as it sounds. It is still possible but it would need one to have some contacts locally to get the right network going.

2) What about profiles which recently have been picked at 755 and above scores, without crucuial 600 this score wasn't possible and +LMIA only made to get such a score. So what has gonne in there cases to get +LMIA.

Almost every single one of the ITA recipients (with CRS score of 600+) were applying from Canada. I can't remember more than 1 case (and that applicant did not interact much here so I've no information other than the fact that he got an ITA on 31st Jan, had NDVO as his LVO and got his PPR in early June) on this forum where someone from outside Canada has got those additional 600 points. People did speak about this organisation called Skills International (http://www.skillsinternational.com/) who are in the business of helping people secure job interviews while being outside Canada but you'll have to check that out for yourself.

Plzzz assist as i am really confused whether to go for EE at a low CRS score of about 406 or not. No +LMIA, i get 0 out of crucial 600.

406 is definitely not a low score. OOPNP kicked in at 400 - you probably did not get a PT from them. There are other provincial nomination programs, read the other threads in the forum patiently to understand further. Explore the possibility of increasing your score - maybe by increasing your language scores because that is the quickest way of doing things.

Copy is enough, no need to send the original.

Sec 3.2 (Pg 10) of the guide clearly says that you need to submit a copy of the ECA. Various members have called/mailed OOPNP and got the same response.

NOC 4021 used to be 4131. I did a search for it on the job bank website and they still have it as 4131. According to the job bank website NOC 4131 which is the same as NOC 4021 is not a regulated occupation in Ontario. Here is a link to the information:
http://www.jobbank.gc.ca/report-eng.do?area=9219&lang=eng&noc=4131&action=final&ln=p&regionKeyword=Toronto%2C+Ontario&s=3&source=0&titleKeyword=college+teacher#RegulatedOccupation

Hope this helps. Good luck!!
