Hi guys,

I am currently completing the Travel history info under the Person History section in my APR.

They have asked,

Has JohnDoe, and if applicable, JohnDoe's family members taken any trips outside their country of origin or of residence in the last ten years (or since their 18th birthday if this was less than ten years ago). Include all trips: tourism, business, training, etc.

I am the primary and only applicant. I have only traveled outside of my country of origin to Canada (where I have seen residing for past 3 years) in the past 10 years. I have since once flag-polled to USA to obtain Post Grad Work Permit and visited my country of origion.

How do you suggest I list them? i haven't traveled anywhere else between my home country and Canada.

You don't have to list trips from your country of origin to your country of residence and vice-versa

Cheers ;)

Okay so I should just pick the "No" travel history in the application? Even the first trip to Canada doesn't count?

Also it says "and if application, JohnDoe's family members".... my family members are not part on my application so I don't have to provide their travel history (or in other words, not applicable)?

Did it get that all correctly ?

Thanks for the help :)

I would pick "no" for travel history (if you arrived to Canada with a study permit/work permit) and N/A for family members.

If anything you can write a small paragraph on your Letter of Explanation stating that all your trips have been from country of origin to country of residence since you were 18. Up to you.

Cheers

Sure that sounds reasonable to me.

looks like there is going to quite a few letters of explanation in the eventual application!

Thanks!

what happens if you are only eligible under nomination category in express entry .
You get 600 CRS points and most likely ITA in next draw.

Can an international student in Canada, who had applied for EE under the FSW category a few months before starting his studies, accept his ITA while continuing to study in Canada on student visa?

I don't see why not.

It's like when a person has a valid work permit and receives an ITA, it's not like he/she has to suddenly stop working.

Cheers and +1 me bro ;)
