I already have an EE Profile last november 2015 with NOC (2133 Electrical Engr). But still dont have any ITA. Can I create a new Profile with different NOC Code? My Profession is quite confusing because it falls to 3 occupation. Hope you can help me. I am confused with the process.

My Profession is Electrical Engineer, but my Job Designation is Technical Sales Support Engr here in the philippines. So I am also qualified as a Technical Sales Specialist in Canada. Please help.

The designation does not matter in deciding the NOC, NOC depends on your duties and responsibilities. If you are not sure about your NOC, you can write to noc@workingincanada.gc.ca with your duties and responsibilities for each company, they will let you know which NOC is the closest fit.

All the best!

You do not have to create a new profile for a new NOC, you can update your existing EE profile. May I ask you what your CRS score is, since you have mentioned that you have created your account in Nov 2015? If your CRS score is 460+, you should have got ITA by now and if your score is between 400 and 460, you should have got PT NOI from Ontario.

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Hi,

I am about to send my PR application in 2 weeks.
I have reference letter for mu current job as well as my husband (we work in the same place).

But since company's situation is going bad we are considering quitting this job (not in the same time, he is more eager to leave).

If that happens after I send my PR application, how should I proceed with documents?

Hi

I am a have filled out my FSW-EE profile and I am waiting for an ITA (Note i am a citizen on Nigeria). I have 3 questions;

1. I have 4 years work experience with the same company in the same job, however, I worked in 2 different countries (ie 2years in Norway + 2 years in Denmark). Do I need to provide 2 experience letters, one for each country i have worked in? or is one letter enough?

2. I am now currently in United Kingdom, and I hope to complete my FSW application in UK, however, my UK permit expires in 31 May 2016 (And I cannot renew it yet). Would CIC have an issue with my application, as my UK permit might expire while they are still processing. Could I be rejected because my UK permit is about to expire? what else could happen?

3. In the mean time I could obtain a 2-year tourist visa for the UK, would Canada CIC have a problem with processing my PR knowing i am in UK on a tourist visa

If you havea any knowledge or experience of this please let me know

Is your job based on LMIA? If yes, then primary applicant needs to notify CIC. Dependent applicants should not worry about changing jobs unless it is also based on LMIA.

I don't think you / primary applicant need to notify CIC about that unless your NOC job code or your roles and responsibilities changes. Also it's not explicitely mentioned here (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/next_steps.asp) about the job. But if you want to be safe you/PA can notify them about job changes, in case CIC officer calls your ex-company to check on your employment status, which is less likely, but sometimes they have done it.

You can send them a case specific enquiry using the link below:

https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/canada-case-cas-eng.aspx

You can use Case Specific Enquiry link for change in information such as address, births, deaths, marriages, divorces, adoptions, changes in employment, change of representative or urgent requests.

Hey guys,

I have a quick question, I recently got an invite under CEC but while reviewing and validating my forms I realised that I did a mistake while filling the work history form.

The answer I filled is (Do you have a current job offer 'Yes' Do you have a positive LMIA 'No') though it did not gave me any points for arranged employment or LMIA but still I know the answer to this question (Do I have a current valid job offer should be 'NO') as i do not have an LMIA from my employer

My concern is can I still edit my form after receiving the Invite? and if I do not edit my answer and continue with the same invitation, can this affect my application even if I haven't got any points for LMIA?

Hi Frnds/Seniors,

I got ITA on 10 Feb and filling forms before the document checklist.

I have one query:

I was in UK for 2 months in 2013. Do I need to mention that address as well in my address history section along with my other addresses in post ITA forms ? Please suggest. I know PCC is NA for UK as I have stayed less than 6 months.

Please see below the details for your ease:

Feb 2003- Sep 2013 - Address 1 (In Pune/India)
Sep 2013- Oct 2013 - Address 2 (In London/UK)
Oct 2013- Till date – Same above address of Pune/India (Address 1)

Please suggest do I need to mention Address 2 as well in the address History section or can I go ahead with mentioning Address 1 from Feb 2003-Till date ??

I have already declared UK travel in travel history section. Please help on above query
