Hi,

This is a critical element of the application, so you need to make every effort to get it.
Read through this thread for ideas:

I have question about “primaryoccupation” upon applying in express entry.

one question is this:
Date R.CM. first became qualified to practice in this occupation

If the "primary occupation" is:
a qualified trade (four-digit code begins with 632, 633, 72, 73, 82, 92), this is the date they became qualified to practice on their own in Canada. (For example, when they moved from apprentice to being a licensed tradesperson.)
any other job, this is the date they first obtained the minimum education or training stated in the NOC description. (Note: if the NOC only states high school, this is the date they graduated.)

This means the date i graduated or the date I passed licensure exam in my home country? I’m claiming points for NOC 3012

Dear All

the first draw for 2019 was done the CRS was 449 and they took 3900

i have checked the pool how they took 3900 and CRS is 449 ? it should be 435 to 440.

284+1919+868=3071
829 should be in 431-440

https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/submit-profile/rounds-invitations.html
Hi,

The numbers shown here are as of the January 3rd 2019 not today.

People enter the pool every day, so it changes quickly.

Hi,

Put the date you completed your first degree, and just for the record, there is no requirement for the candidate to meet the employment requirements of the NOC code.

@TanakaM , could you pls help on this. For getting oinp invite, do we need to recreate the profile or not...
I have read people recommended doing this at 1st of January, but technically I don't see any profit. on the other hand, more important than that is IF and WHEN Ontario is going to run a round of NoIs for HCP (and this nobody can tell).
If you have no hope for direct ITA you have nothing to lose, so go ahead and recreate the profile

Proof of funds: Hi all, I have a query. I have received ITA. In order to show POF, can i take money from my relatives and show as proof of funds. If yes, can we do the same with any relative or only immediate family member. Also is there any gift deed required. Does it need to be notarised?

Hi,

I know ACCA is accepted, not sure about CMA.
The US site says they accept it. https://www.wes.org/evaluations-and-fees/professional-license-certification/cma-certified-management-accountant/

https://www.wes.org/advisor-blog/accounting-exams-and-credential-evaluation/

Best way to know if your's is accepted is to go to the free evaluation tool: https://applications.wes.org/ca/degree-equivalency-tool/

Hello guys, I have a quick question.

I have plans to immigrate to BC this year as a plumber, and I will use the immigration lawyer. I guess it will be by LMIA and Express entry ?
What I am interested about is how fast I can get my girlfriend to Canada too. We are in a long relationship so far, and we want to get married.
So, would it be better to get married before I apply for immigration, or after ? And how long would it take for her to join me in Canada if I menage to immigrate.

Thank you

Hi,

You can claim points for any skilled experience you have gained in the last 10 years. It doesn't have to be your current job.

"Skilled work experience
You must have at least one year, in the last ten years before you submit your electronic application for permanent residence, of continuous full-time work experience (or the equivalent in continuous part-time work) in a skilled occupation listed in Skill Type 0, or Skill Level A or B of the 2016 version of Canada’s National Occupational Classification (NOC)."

All the best
Thank you ;)
