Hi , hope 2018. thank you for replying. I see,so , I can't claim points anymore. Last time,on my express entry profile, I only use Canadian diploma and I did not use my foreign degree because there was an issue with the ECA, But thankfully I got the ECA now.

So, I am thinking to just decline this one and reapply with both my ECA and my Canadian diploma.

After declining an ITA. Do I need to create a new profile to reapply or I can just use the same one?

Thank you
If you are not able to support via documents your current score then you have only option which is to reject ITA. But I still did not get how did you have a score to get ITA in first place? If you decline ITA you will be back in draw with same profile but do changes before next draw.

Hello All,

Need a small clarification. Based on the crs tool, the total number of points I get is 482. I have an year worth of work exp in Canada between 2012 and 2013. Now, CRS tool asks for CA work ex in last 10 years but the eligibility tool asked for CA exp in past 3 years.

Question: How do we get points for previous CA exp but not within the pat 3 years?

You are confusing two different things. The question regarding CA exp within the past 3 years is in regards to your eligibility under the CEC program (for which you're not eligible).

Valid CA exp for CRS points is any work experience within the past 10 years.

Hi, Hope2018. Basically I got the score with my Canadian diploma at first and my point is 445. The cut of score is 442. But, after received the ITA, I just realized that my school is actually not "a private school that operate under the same rules as public schools ." Therefore I lost the additional 15 points from the SKILL TRANSFERABILITY section.

Hey @hope2018 and other expert members
Should I go for Standard Delivery ($7) or Tracking ($85) for ECA delivery by WES ? I mean, Is standard delivery like normal post bcz postman of our area is very insincere and he wouldn't deliver un-registered posts.Thanks.
Standard delivery. Download and use the soft copy after evaluation. Save money

You can use the same account to reenter the pool if you decline this ITA. I will advise that you shouldn't do that, since you got ITA with your Canadian diploma, you can proceed to completing your forms. Just add your ECA under personal history and if you like, upload it plus the degree or diploma for that ECA.

He said he has Canadian Diploma, and he used it. Meaning he has Canadian education.

My bad! Sorry to hear this. You can decline the ITA, and reenter the pool again with the same account.

Thanks. Another clarification needed. I entered my spouse's education details while filling up the EE profile and marked ECA as "No". Now, with 472 points I will get an ITA next Wednesday(if the draw happens) ie. 25th April. However, my wife's ECA will be released by 30th April.

How do I deal with this situation? Should I update my EE profile with my wife's ECA # after receiving the ITA. Does it even allow it? If not then what's the best possible solution as I don't need to claim CRS points for her education now.

Appreciate any assistance received.

You can mention her educational credentials in the personal history section only (which appears Post-ITA) and leave her education section blank
