Q1. To keep things simple, is it not possible to get reference letter for one NOC from your parent company? I not sure if the tool even allows putting 2 different NOC for same time period. All your reference letters, working hours, salary need to be from parent company - the one you are employed with.
If you intend to do what you said, you will need to find a way to put in profile like that & also backed by reference letters which state everything like that, split of your time per NOC, working hours etc which seems a huge effort. Do you think showing one single NOC is an issue in any way or misrepresentation? If yes then better to consult a really good immigrant consultant for your case.

Q2. You can make as many changes as you want in your EE profile until you get an ITA.
Thanks for the comments Hope2018. It is indeed very much possible to get reference letters for only one NOC but i was just wondering if adding an experience with another NOC would give extra points to me then why not. If it does not just in case then i might as well drop it completely. Secondly i cannot in any way split the time per NOC as i was responsible fully for both the jobs side by side.

Can anyone else also share some views/inputs here?

You will not get extra points for multiple NOCs.

maximum points of a job is only for 3+ years experience.

Can any one clarify me about my experience..

1.Worked for an Indian company as an Electrical Engineer from June 2012 to sep 2015

2.Took an annual leave in my indian company from jan 2013 to march 2013 to work for shutdown project in Qatar as an Electrical Engineer and came back and joined back to my Indian Company.
3.Took again an annual leave in my indian company from jan 2014 to may 2014 to work for a similar shutdown project in qatar as an electrical engineer and joined back in may 2014.
All my work is continous without even a single weeks gap. The only thing concerned is that I worked for a different company during my annual leave tenure. I believe this should not put me in problems.

Also do i need to provide PCC from Qatar. I havent stayed in Qatar for 6 months in a row.

Replies from experts please
* There is no problem in your work experience. Everything is good.

* If you have not stayed for 6 months in continuous, then no need of PCC.

Hey guys,
As advised by mr.preetsingh No Objection Certiricate (NOC) is required in case of govt. deptt. to apply for PR.
(With due respect to mr.preetsingh's advice) I would like if anyone else can comment on this. I just want to confirm as it's proving very troublesome to get NOC from my deptt.
I'm working in a limited company - PSPCL (Punjab State Power Corporation Limited) in which Punjab state govt. has controlling share.
1.) Whether it will be considered govt. deptt.?
2.)If yes, Is No Objection Certificate (NOC) required ?
Thanks.
haha... Let me try to answer this in an easy way.

1. Your department is Government. No need of an argument in this.
2. NOC is required, however, try filing your PR without it and wait for VISA officer's comment. He may ask for additional documents but will not reject your PR application. So do not worry about it. There is a chance that he will never ask for NOC if you provide your reference letter on company letterhead and it should look legit.

Hi experts. I am back with a couple of queries again that i am encountering while filling up my EE profile. I am sure you people will sail me through.

1. Regarding my work experience: In my current office I am involved in more that one role which in turn qualifies (i am not 100% sure but technically believe so) me to show experience in two different NOCs. I am employed with a company that also has a sister concern. So I am a manager in one and industrial designer for the other, but at the same time am on rolls of the parent company only. I am not sure if anyone has been through this before or i am being too optimistic. So here is what i want to do, in the experience section i intend to put two entries with the same time period with separate NOCs. I can arrange for this thing to be mentioned in the letter from the employers also. Now the question: is this the right way to proceed?

2. After i submit my profile is it possible to make any change in any of the forms without withdrawing?

I hope i have been clear enough to present my case here. Any help will be appreciated.

TIA
1. If you have received a direct invitation (not PNP), make your profile simple. Mention only one NOC and get reference letter for the same from your company.

2. Once you have submitted your PR application, you can not change it. Read below

Thanks for clarifying more. And I have not yet completed by EE profile so no question of a direct or indirect invitation.
So you mean to say even before ITA while my application is in the pool I still cannot make any change in the profile?

Can anyone help here?
My sister’s application status changed to IP 2 since mid March, no change after that since , medical was suppose to be expired on April 11 , no changes on that, application will be six months on April 24, I read on other forums that once in IP2 its a matter of days but the application is same since last one month, can anyone help
You will soon get new update. There are a lot of applications under IP2.

But, if you medical has expired on April 11, They will never give you a VISA, because as per rules, one has to land in Canada before Medical expires.

I was trying to save your back from Visa officer. Technically there should not be a doubt in the mind of VISA officer while accessing your profile.

There are two applications that you submit,
* One is Express Entry profile application (which can be modified before invitation but not after invitation)
* Permanent Residence application (which can not be modified after submission)

Thanks for being so patiently helpful, this is what makes this place rocking.....I was worried about the EE profile application only for the time-being.....

Cheers to all members here....

Thanks preet singh for replying...you are really helpful.. I just have some last couple of questions...In my express entry, i havent put those experiences of Qatar which i have worked by taking annual leave from my Indian company as I thought it wouldnt make any difference as that experience is in the same tenure and was also worried CIC will ask how can i work in a different company by taking leave. I thought to just put that as vacation trips to qatar in travel history. Now if i dont put my qatari experience of 2 to 3 months every year, will cic deduct that gap as not continous experience by seeing my travel history? Do you suggest to put that experience.. can you please tell what will happen if dont put that experience.. i have worked in qatar for 3 months in 2013 and for 4 months in 2014 by taking annual leaves in my indian company.

Hello All
This thread is a long one. Could you please help me if the instructions provided on the initial thread is upto date. Would I be able to do the express entry and Canada immigration myself?
