You keep saying "most int'l students" and "80% of int'l students". Are you personally know all int'l students here in Canada which more than 200,000 students or just your group of friends ? If you only have a Canadian diploma then you don't stand a chance in EE pool. I say again, a Canadian bachelor is bare minimum for an int'l student to have a small chance to secure EE.
The government did not mention Canadian degree specifically;

Guys, what was the process of getting PR for intl students before EE?
As far as I remember, one should have had canadian degree and job offer? Should it be LMIA or not? Did any experience count?
Please correct me.
I'm just curious how much is the difference. Because people supposed some conditions before applying for canadian education and got others.

The difference in the old system and the EE is the big reason for all the frustration that international students show. The old system needed Canadian education that might be a college diploma or a university degree and one year of work experience in Noc O, A or B categories. Ielts requirement was CLB 7 for Noc O and CLB 6 for NOC B.There was no points system and no ranking. All it needed was minimum eligibility and legitimate experience. The only down side of that system was 12-17 month processing time. However PR was granted at the end of the process. It was a pretty easy and straight forward process.

In addition, there's "red pill of hard truth" as said by Alexio07 (star member in this thread forum) in this forum and not encouraging support like consultants put on their website which it can be inferred you received;

Instead of wasting your time giving me -1, it is not me to be blamed as I am not in charge of any reform; would you be able to give -1 to the Canadian government staff directly in the face?
Elrud, not sure what you are trying to do here...
But let's review some facts.

All this post is based on some old info that :
a) IS NOT confirmed in any way
b) DOES NOT precise anything on who will be affected or not (college, university...)
c) DOES NOT precise anything about how it will change the CRS system
d) is nowhere near to be implemented

So, please, stop with this. This is not information that should be taken seriously until a real announcement is made.
Until then, this is pure speculation.

You may be impatient to hear more, have been mislead, or else. But we have told you several times this was old news, unconfirmed. You have no more excuse to continue.
I suggest you read a more reliable and detailed source on this event.

And I'm quite sure the full intervention of Mr. McCallum could also be found to give you his exact wording.

Sad to say this is one of those threads that I happened to have posted in the very beginning thinking it will lead to something concrete but reality is different.

Does anyone know how can one "unfollow" a thread?
