Hi All,

I have received PPR but my spouse is not living together and are not on talking terms.

I am principal applicant and declared my spouse as accompanying. I did not use any spouse points for provincial application and express entry.

Can i just submit my passport or i need to explain for not having my spouses passport.

Thank you all.

I think you need to explain the situation to IRCC. As you have mentioned in the application that your spouse will accompany you, but right now if you just submit your own passport, it will contradict with your previous statement that you made in the EE application. You have to raise a CSE and explain the situation.

Seniors?

musicnlyrx is right; you need to notify IRCC.
If you only send your passport, you will just receive another passport request for your spouse's passport, and this will delay your application.

Inform CIC that you wish to change your spouse to non-accompanying.

Dear all,

Thank you for your responses. If i declare that my spouse is not accompanying me, can they demand some documents for the same ? Because if they demend it will be too difficult to get it from my spouse.

Thank you all..

Please reply...

Just to add.. can my application get impacted negatively.. just want to confirm.. before taking any action..

Thank you for your responses again..

Honestly, they can ask for any documents they want.
But I don't think they would ask for any documents in this case.
