Hi guys,

Just wondering if anyone could give a light on this.
I'm currently providing the documents for eAPR. and in the "Proof of Means of Financial Support" is states that:

If you are applying for PR in Canada, you must provide as official letter issued by your financial institution indicating your financial profile. This must:
* list all your bank (chequing and savings) and investiment accounts, the account number, dates each account was opened and the balance of each account over the past 6 months,
* list all outstanding debts such as credit cards and loans
* be printed on the letterhead of the financial institution, and include your name and the contact information of the financial institution(address, phone number and email)

Currently my case has 4 people(myself, wife and 2 kids) which means that I have to prove around CAD 23000.
I was born in Brasil but currently living in Australia.

I currently have $18000(CAD) in a savings account here in Australia. I'm waiting a payoff amount of around $11000(from one of the companies I worked for) which should happen in the next couple weeks. I have 40 days to submit all documents. By the submission, those $11000 will only be displayed for the last couple weeks when I print the statement.
Would that suffice?

Another option I have(which I used for the OINP) is to also include the $$ I have invested back in Brazil. The problem with this option is that I have only investments which are on an account in conjunction with my mom(she's the primary account holder) and I won't be able to get the statement for last 6 months. I have already managed to get a letter from the bank stating the accounts belong to both of us and the date they were opened, I have a letter from my mom saying that I have absolute unrestricted access to those accounts. I've also managed to get the statement for the month of January 2017 for those accounts. Because I used this option when I lodged the OINP, I also have the same letter from February last year, would that help? In choosing this option I would also have to get these documents translated to English which will add quite a bit of cost to the process. The amount available in Brazil is much much more than what I'm required to prove.

Do I need to include the second option and get the documents translated? Will it be acceptable? I can only get the previous month in a statement as my mom has to go to the bank and get it printed and signed by the account manager(she only does one month).

Any help/advice would be much appreciated.

As long as you have proof where those $11,000 are coming from then that will suffice.

Thanks mate.
My previous company did my income tax incorrectly, so I paid much more than I should have. I'm just waiting for it to be processed back which should happen in the next couple weeks.

Thanks again
