We are going to be applying for express entry in the near future. My husband if the principal applicant and I will be included on the application as a spouse. My question is, I understand the proof of funds application must pertain to the principal applicant. The account we currently hold sufficient funds in is a joint account under his and my name. Will this be ok for the proof of funds information, or must it be under his name solely.
We also have sufficient funds in a business account that has the family business name. Would this also be appropriate for proof of funds?
Thanks in advance.

Joint accounts with accompanying spouse are acceptable.

So just to clarify a joint bank account with principal applicant and spouse is acceptable, only if the spouse provides documentation that funds are for immigration purposes.
