are you sure?? bcoz 2nd draw was a correction draw...

But one of the rounds was CEC only, right? So it doesn't count for the ~50k FSW for this year...

Wow, this is sad...

Just did some rough calculations.

If you suppose that 2nd draw was not a correction draw, then 4365 ITA for FSW were issued so far. An average of 3 ppl/ITA (because family counts for the FSW quota), so it's something around 13095 people.

Let's suppose they'll issue 45k PRs for FSW this year. If you keep the average of 3 ppl/ITA, that's a little more than 10k ITA left to be issued this year for FSW.

I really don't think scores will go down so much. I guess we will be lucky if it gets to low 400's.

It is also important to remember that some people who received ITA in the first round, also received it again under the CEC specific stream. Likewise, there are a few members who stated that they received ITA once and declined, and were invited again on a subsequent draw. This makes it difficult for us to accurately calculate the exact number of persons receiving ITAs because a number of them would have been counted twice.

Also, keep in mind, that it is possible that although someone has received ITA they may not receive PR for whatever reason. Again, this makes it difficult to estimate the number of ITAs that are still available to be offered. With that said, DO NOT PANIC!

I do not understand your statistic of 3 people per ITA??? I believe the quota for FSW is based on the primary applicant and dependants come under family class.

I believe this... I believe that...

The only proof I've seen was in some thread I can't find now. A guy found something in CIC's website that led to believe that family does count for the cap. Which is why I assumed that.

I apologize if that's not the case. Anyhow, no need to be rude, honey.

Hey, sweetie, can you scream this?:

"The economic class includes skilled workers, provincial nominees, business immigrants, live-in caregivers, and the Canadian Experience Class, as well as members of their immediate family."

Thank you.
