NOC Code......

Hey everyone,

I created my Express Entry profile a few days ago and yesterday I got an update stating that it has been rejected since I don't meet the minimum criteria. But as far as I know I meet the criteria quite easily and I've been checking the CRS score calculator and also the Come to Canada tool. With both the tools I've been getting a positive result. So I really have no idea what caused this.

Here's a bit about my profile.
Age - 26
Degree - Bachelors in Engineering (I took five years to complete it)
Got ECA done
IELTS - L:8.0 R:7.5 W:7.5 S:7.5
When they asked how much money I have as funds I approximately mentioned $13,000 CAD.
Now I'd appreciate if someone can point out any mistake in here. Feel free to ask any questions that will help you help me.
The only thing I can think of is the funds were less than what they deem enough. But then the official website states a much

Work experience?

might be related to their system glitch. try to create a new profile.

@Pascal.H It does not look like a glitch to me although I do hope that my second attempt at creating the profile leads to success. Really baffling that it doesn't tell us the exact reason for rejection. That way we'll at least know what to focus on.
Anyway thanks to all those who've replied so far.

Let's break that down. Your current age is 26 years, and I believe your work experience is related to your NOC (after Bachelor's):
26 (age) - 4 (work experience) - 5 (Engineering College) = 17
At 17 you were in 12th Grade
So, you were in 1st Grade when you were 5 years old.
You definitely attended kindergarten (Nursery, LKG and UKG)
So, you started your schooling when you were 2 years old.
Great!! That's quite a feat.

Have you created a job bank profile?
Nothing else seems to stand out in your profile that would lead to a rejection. Like others said, it does seem to be a system glitch.

No offense intended... however here in I India, couple of decades back, rarely did the children attend LKG& UKG... admissions to first grade (standard) was given in all public and private schools at the completion of minimum age of 5years...(me and my brother's all have followed that like 90% of all students of mine and previous generation..)
at 17 years one can pass out of +2 (12th grade ) and you are eligible for graduate studies, including IITs ...at 21 one can be a graduate engineer...only the not so smart ones miss out an year or two and almost all the smart ones complete their B.Tech by 21...if it is Bachelor's in Science or other disciplines,it takes 3 years and one can hold a Bachelor's Degree at 20years...
here nowadays, kids are sent to playschool and day care at 2 years..at 3 LKG,@4 to UKG and they start their first grade at 5 years....it is normal practice...
However reading that EE profiles become ineligible without much identifiable reasons scares me as I'm in my last leg of waiting for ECA to create my profile...
...

That's quite common! Nothing to be surprised.

@xibalban What makes you think I've attended kindergarten which isn't mandatory in the first place? And I'll soon turn 27 so before you "break it down" in a way that does nothing but mock me without even attempting to answer my question, I'll simply ignore you.

@lino82 I hope you don't face the same situation as I am staring at now. It's annoying how there's no way we can figure out for sure as to what this whole mystery is about. I might re-apply in a few minutes all over again and change the funds. There's nothing else to change really.

@dopehead I never came across any option of creating a job bank profile. With the recent changes to EE this month I think job bank profile is optional.

Guys, its their system glitch. A lot of people have been getting the same rejection which you are talking about.
Your profile is good and there seems no logical reason for it to be rejected.

What I would suggest you is that you wait for your ECA to arrive and then make a new profile. By then the system issues will also solve itself.

"If you're making 67 points on the Express Entry calculator on the CIC website, even God can't stop your profile from being ineligible" ;)
