Hi, I have some questions regarding my Express Entry Profile, for which I can't find any answers in previous discussions:

1. Passport info: Do I need to list all my previous passports, or only my current one (some of my older passports bear my previous name)?

2. The amount of funds will bring to Canada/family info: Is this to declare the total amount of funds I have access to (my net worth), or just that amount that I may take to Canada? E.g. Suppose I have 90k CAD, can I enter 40k here and would this be a problem if I later show that I have more than 40k in the bank?

3. Work history:
a) The format of the dates field is months/year- is this inclusive? E.g. Would a period entered as April 2013 to March 2014 count on their system as 12 full months or 11 months?
b) Do I need to include self-employed voluntary work and if so, how do I prove it and what would be a suitable NOC?
c) What would be an appropriate NOC for a full time, paid sabbatical position as an Elected Students Union President?

Hi, I have some questions regarding my Express Entry Profile, for which I can't find any answers in previous discussions:

1. Passport info: Do I need to list all my previous passports, or only my current one (some of my older passports bear my previous name)? A: Only your current valid Passport. Any other name clarification is asked in the EE profile itself.

A: You need to show the funds that are unencumbered (Liquidity) in your account, which is greater than the PoF for the appropriate family size(including yourself). No issues if you declare less that the overall amount available in the bank.

3. Work history:
a) The format of the dates field is months/year- is this inclusive? E.g. Would a period entered as April 2013 to March 2014 count on their system as 12 full months or 11 months? A: It will count it as 12 months(1 year). But be careful, you need to prove the tenure with supporting documents, else points will be deducted accordingly.
b) Do I need to include self-employed voluntary work and if so, how do I prove it and what would be a suitable NOC? A:Yes, if you want to claim points for it. Prove it with appropriate documents that are required for self employed applicants. For details refer CIC website. NOC depends on your roles and responsibilities of your job, you need to find it from the NOC document available on CIC website.
c) What would be an appropriate NOC for a full time, paid sabbatical position as an Elected Students Union President? A: You need to check the NOC to find the code for yourself based on your roles and responsibilities.
