Hello Team,

I am an International Student wants to create Express Entry Profile but had some confusion.

My course was 2 year including 1 year of CO-OP (1year Academic and 1year COOP). I got job during my COOP and still holding same position.
My confusion is my graduation was in DEC 2015 and i got my Post Graduation Work Permit in APR 2016. Now in profile should i say i am working form Jan 2016 to till date or i have to say Apr 2016 to till date?

In other words the Canadian work experience should be counted from the date i received my work permit or form the date i graduated and eligible to work.

Thanks in advanced for all your help.

You can count your work experience from Jan 2016 onwards as long as you can produce a proof that you have graduated from your college/university in Dec 2015. This proof can be a letter from your college/university or any other document.

thanks for the advise :)

I have one more question.
My Wife was also international student. Somehow she couldn't able to get the minimum required GPA to get degree and we have decided not to continue the studies. She started working and then after got dependent work permit by Apr 2016. Now can we consider her Canadian work experience from the date she finished her studies or it would be form Apr 2016 when she got work permit?

Appreciate your response :)

If your wife was here on a study permit and quit her program of study (she did not "finish"), then she was not authorized to work before she got the work permit.

May be i kept wrong word. Actually she was not able to get enough GPA to pass the course. She took another subject to match up the GPA but couldn't make it(Her GPA was 1.90).

I'm sympathetic, but it doesn't matter what reason she left the program, she did not graduate. If you leave the program, you are not authorized to work on a study permit.
