I just created my Express Entry profile and the system does not give me any score for my education. What happens?

Is it related to the answer of the question "Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) within the past five years for this degree, diploma or certificate? "

For this answer, I replied NO because I have not yet performed ECA. (But my university is a well-known one.

U have ur answer. ECA must be available.
Or at least if u're certain of the ECA outcome , just answer the related questions as needed.

Yeah, this is what I am thinking. Without ECA, the IRCC just does not recognise my degree. My university is pretty famous, so should be no problem.

Should I do ECA now? Or Should I do ECA after getting ITA?

ECA is part of the application when setting up your EE profile. You will need your ECA reference #, without which you cannot receive an ITA.

As Maarib said, ECA must be done before submitting ur profile. Regardless of ur university .
The only exception is if u have a canadian degree , else u'll have to have an Eca Trf.

This is why there is 200 score difference between Express Entry and official calculator !!

1. 150 point for education, and
2. Canadian experience and post-secondary education (which is 50)

Minimum requirements for creating express entry profile
1. IELTS test scores.
2. ECA for any non Canadian education.
3. At least one year full time paid job experience in NOC 0, A or B.
4. You must be alive.

Yup, I now know all these. The key reason for why I set up Express Entry profile is to see if there is any score discrepancy between the official calculator tool and EE profile. And I think they give same scores.

Haha, of course I am alive, otherwise it seems a horror movie a ghost is making posts in this forum.
