Express Entry Profile Cancelled by CIC

Hi All,

My application profile was cancelled in Express entry due to below reason

Police certificate

The police certificate from India that provided by us is not acceptable as it does not cover the full period of time spent in India.
In provided Time spam for last 10 years
- July'2005 -- Oct'2009 i was in my home town
- Oct'2009 -- Apr'13 i was in ambala (200 KM from my home town)
- Apr'13 -- till dat i am in Chandigarh (170 Km from my home town)

I provided PCC from my home town, as in india if somebody done any criminal activity, record should be mentioned on his permanent address, that why i provided. but CIC govt. canceled my profile.

Profile was cancelled on 1-May-17, still final decision is pending.

Please help me what is the next process?

IMO, get your pcc done from passport office, if they are asking for further clarification from you. It should suffice everything.

No, In India if somebody done any criminal activity, records should be mentioned on his permanent address. Suppose i have done some criminal activity in Ambala (200 KM from my Home town), & record should be present at Ambala Police station as well as my permanent address.

as per Canadian Govt. my PCC covers the period up to 2009 only.

IMO, get your pcc done from passport office, if they are asking for further clarification from you. It should suffice everything.

Pls confirm Passport office PCC is valid for PAN India or i have to mentioned my last 10 years tenure.

Passport officer/police will do the verification from all address & then they provided PCC.

PCC from Passport Seva Kendra is valid across India - that is the best route rather than taking from local authorities since they do not have authority beyond the jurisdiction of their police station. In my opinion, that is why your application got rejected.

Make sure you submit PSK PCC next time. Good luck!

But, it is mentioned on the CIC site, especially for Delhi and Punjab, one can get PCC from local authorities also

I think if your pcc was later covering the latest period you wouldnt have faced any issues
