Express Entry Process - Hired Consultant

Dear Friends,

I hired an agency to assist me in the entire Express Entry process. They informed me that only the agency will have access to the registered email id in the EE profile. Whatever communication is received will be forwarded to me for required action and information.

Is it a regular process with all the agencies? Kindly advise...

Not in my case, I share all details with clients.

On the contrary, there are several agencies who do not share the login credentials.

If your agency is handling your case using a lawyers portal, then they will not share the login details with you. However, they should be communicating all related updates to you for your information and action wherever required.

Not in my case, I share all details with clients.

On the contrary, there are several agencies who do not share the login credentials.

But is there any reason for not sharing the login credentials? This definitely credit a doubt in the mind of the applicant.

What you mean by lawyers portal? Although the agency assured me that they will share all communication but this approach create a doubt in my mind. Is there something they want to hind from me...i am not sure.

Regular consultants create separate user IDs which they can and must share with you. However, most large scale firms have in house lawyers and there is a separate portal access given to them. Sharing access to that means providing details of all their clients so they never do that. Hope it’s clear

I am not sure of multiple clients. As in case, the agency has created a separate email id in my name. I requested them to share the password for this email id but they are not ready for it. So i am getting suspicious....

same with me, agency is not sharing credentials but share updates/actions. We can get status by calling CIC , they need Application no. & DOB to auto status. and some more info while talking to customer care representative.
