My express entry points have not been updated. As per the new rules all canadian graduates are supposed to receive 30+ points . I updated my institution number with all the details on Nov 24th but my points are still the same. What should I do - wait for the draw which is day after or withdraw and re-create my express entry profile? Is anyone else also facing the same issue. Some of my friends have already received the 30+ points so i am a bit confused as to what to do. Any advcie will be helpful.

Thanks
D

Here we go again, what were your answers for the following questions:

1 -Was this degree, diploma or certificate:
from a public post-secondary school, such as a college, trade/technical school, university or CEGEP (in Quebec)
from a private post-secondary school that operates under the same rules as public schools
a diplôme d'études professionnelles (DEP) or an attestation de spécialisation professionnelle (ASP) earned through a qualifying study program of at least 900 hours from a private school in Quebec, or
a Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate degree from a Canadian private school that can legally award degrees under provincial law. (The student must have been enrolled in a study program that led to a degree as set out by the province.)
Help

2 - Was more than half the study program English or French as a second language courses?

3 - Did XXX study in Canada based on an award that required them to go back to their home country to apply their knowledge and skills? This includes some awards from Global Affairs Canada.

The second question is asking whether half of your courses were ESL/FSL courses (courses designed for you to learn or improve your English/French).

Answer should be "no"

You will get your points within 24 hrs.

Why did you answer no for the second question? You graduated from a public post-secondary school in Canada (U of T), didn't you?

Its a No because its asking "more than half the study program English or French as a second language courses". But you studied as a normal first language. So its a NO

Quick question,

I deleted my profile and started a new one and everything seems fine. I registered my job bank and entered my express entry information and got am email saying congratulations your express entry profile has been created and completed. My issue is that when I log into my profile the line that says job bank registration says PENDING ( which means registration is incomplete) it's been 12 hours since I created my profile but it keeps saying pending. Am I doing something wrong?

That's the third question in OP's post, the answer to which should be No like you said. I was referring to the second question about receiving degree/diploma/certificate from a public post-secondary school etc.

I have the same problem. My points are not updated either.
And, I had an scholarship from back home to study in canada, in which I was supposed to to go back home after graduation. So I said Yes, as the answer of third question.

Is this why I am not getting any points ?

Is it possible I can answer the third question -- NO , to get the points because I am already in agreement with my scholarship provider to return them the amount of scholarship as an alternate to go back home ? please let me know...

If that is the agreement you have made with the provider, then yes, you can answer it as NO and claim extra points. But, have your agreement ready just in case they ask during the process later. I do not have any particular experience in this matter, just know of few people who did it that way.
