Curious on what is considered a good score. I realize if you have an offer for employment it seems your chances should be very good as you'd get immediately 50% of the available points. I unfortunately don't have this. Curious what is the minimum score to qualify as I can't seem to find that anywgere.

You need to wait for the first draw and see the minimum that has been drawn

That seems like an odd way to do it. One would think they'd have a minimum to qualify. Do you know when the draw is to be held? This new system appears to be tougher for people to qualify.

Based from the other posts I've seen, many are having 400+ points (neither having a job offer nor provincial nominee) which sounds to be in good shape of being selected. I've been seeing some 300+ points too which could be of quite lesser chance but then again, it depends on how many invitations that CIC will make. Let's all cross our fingers and hope for the best! Good luck to everyone!
