Express entry on implied status

Hi
So my express entry application got refused and after that i applied for work permit extension and LMIA. Now i am on implied status still waiting for the decision on my work permit extension. But my LMIA got approved last week. So i can reapply for express entry. I just wanted to know if i applied for express entry and my work permit got refused. I will be in restoration period or still implied status as i will be waiting for my express entry decision.

Depends. What was your status in Canada before the EE application was refused? What sort of visa did you hold and when did it expire?

I had 3 year open work permit. It expired on 13th july but i applied for extension on 11th july
