My application picked on Nov13th draw, anyone can tell me, how long it will take to get my PR card.

The reason I am asking my work permit expires on Jun 2nd 2016 and I dont want to loose my job in Canada.

Hello Chitti,

It depends on individual.
I saw in the form where some got in 4 weeks (Approval) and some in 13 -15 (Approval) weeks... some got query's to submit additional docs...
if everything in your application is perfect... u will get within in 6 months.

you can stay and work in Canada after the end of your work permit as long as your application is still in progress and not rejected. You can also apply to extend your work permit and continue working until you revive the new one, as long as you are in Canada for less than 4 years.

A question

Hi there
I have applied for extension of my study permit and my husband open work permit on 27 Dec, this week I was informed that my application for study permit has been approved but no decision has been made about my husband yet. Before, I had been told that in view of the fact that the main reason of my husband for getting open work permit is my student permit, both of us will have the same processing time.( the study permit extension processing time).
But, it seems that there is difference in processing time. I was wondering if any body has experienced the same situation and can let me know about the processing time for my husband?
