Hello,
I had prepared express entry profile 2 times in last three days and it became ineligible twice at the same instance after submitting the profile.
I have filled all details truthfully and supported by the documents (i.e NOC, IELTS score, etc..)

I have doubt that I am filling something wrong in "Intended to work in Canada" section.

Following are the answers I filled. Please guide me If you find incorrect answers.

1. Does have a job offer in Canada?
- Yes. Because I started job before 2 months based on my PGWP. NOC code for this job is different (1225) than the one I am using for primary occupation(2231).

2. Is this job offer for work that is:
  • full-time
  • continuous and
  • for at least one year?
- Yes. I assumed it as the work is full time, its continuous and "there is no expiry date on my offer letter ("hence for at least one year").- Am I right?

3. Is this job offer for work that is non-seasonal?

- Yes

4. Four-digit NOC code
- 1225 (differs than what I have used as a primary occupation)- does it make any difference.

Now LMIA section,

1. Was a positive Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) issued for the job offer in Canada?
- No. I have PGWP Open Work Permit.
2. Is ... currently working in Canada? (required)
- Yes.
3.Is ... job offer from the employer named on the current work permit?
-No. Open permit.
4.Four-digit NOC code of current work permit.
- No idea about what should I fill. I filled NOC for my current work.(1225)

Thank you in advance.

1. This should be NO. IRCC has a very specific definition of what constitutes a valid job offer. You need to either a) have an LMIA or b) be working on an employer-specific work permit for at least a year before applying AND get an offer of employment for at least a year with the employer list on your work permit. https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/become-candidate/eligibility/offer-employment.html

An offer based on a PGWP is NOT a valid job offer according to IRCC's definition.

2. Irrelevant as you don't have a valid job offer.

3. Again, irrelevant

4. It doesn't, in theory, but it may raise questions about the genuineness of your offer.

Everything else is fine.

Thanks. I am grateful for the instant reply.

Following the response, I understood that I should select " NO" in the answer of "Does have a job offer in Canada?".

I will post further if I will feel dilemma about any other question.:)
