Hi guys, would like your opinion whether I have the chance to be drawn on EE itself or if I could get nominated for Alberta. My details are as follows:

Submitted my profile - December 15, 2020
Age - 25 years old
Eligible for - Federal Skilled Worker
CRS score - 429
Education - 3 years Bachelor’s Degree (ECA by IQAS)
IELTS - CLB 9 - C1 Advanced (L8 R7 W7 S7)
NOC - I have experience in both NOC 5241 (Graphic Designer and Illustrators) and NOC 2175 (Web designers and developers) but in my EE Profile, I declared NOC 5241. Which do you guys think will give me more of an advantage?

I haven't received any update on my profile so I was wondering whether I did something wrong. Thank you for your help!

Dear Experts

Need your assistance on post ITA step where I have to submit the documents. Query is regarding "Legal Name Change Doc" for my wife, where scenario is as below:-
Her education degrees has last Name as the one which was before Marriage (let us call is LastName_BM), and same is used by WES in their report.
Her current passport & other documents (like PAN CARD, Aadhar Card, Bank Account in Canada) etc. have last name after marriage (lets call it LastName_AM).

Our Marriage certificate does not have her last name mentioned.

Now Scenario is as below:-
Documents with LastName_BM (before Marriage): Earlier Passport, Degree Certificates, WES Report
Documents with LastName_AM (after Marriage): Current Passport, PAN Card, Aadhar Card, Canada Bank Account, OHIP Card.
Document with No Last Name: Marriage Certificate.

In the document List, "Legal Name Change Doc" has been asked.

What should be supplied here?

Please assist.

I would get a notarized "one and the same person" affidavit for all the documents that you are going to submit.

PAN card, Aadhar card really don't matter for your immigration application.

You would get the aforementioned affidavit mentioning that the person listed in the WES report, Degree certificate, passport, Bank account and marriage certificate are one and the same person and the name was changed because of marriage.

This is only my opinion, you might want to ask other people who were in a similar situation.

In a nutshell, who have experience on how to claim points with nysc for pple like me who teached with a bsc in science geophysics without the prerequisite knowledge or education in education related courses, lecturers, teachers please ur advice re needed here??
Job employment requirements mentioned on the NOC website do not apply to jobs outside of Canada.

However, you need at least a post secondary certificate / diploma in order to be eligible for Express Entry.

I am planning to do my Master's in Canada (1 year) next year. Just want to confirm if I will be able to get a PR at the end of my degree.
CRS Score Link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1CRqcYfIKEwxyaASj09FJ7UoEwrW0t-Kl/view?usp=sharing
I have a few questions:
  1. Above is my CRS Profile, I should be getting at score of 483 after my Masters in Canada, I also have 1 year of foreign work experience. Should this be enough to apply under the Federal Skilled Worker Program and should I be eligible to get a PR with the above score right after my masters?
483 is a pretty competitive score. Yes, depending on the circumstances at the time, you should be able to get an invitation with relative ease.
  1. Will I be able to stay in Canada without a job offer on PGWP?
PGWP is an open work permit. You will be issued this for a period of 3 years. You can stay and look for jobs in Canada with this permit.
  1. After I apply for a PR will I be able to continue working in Canada without a work permit (and without a Job)? or do I need to leave the country and return after my PR Is approved?
You can keep working in Canada as long as you have a valid status that is relevant. That is, you can keep working until your PGWP expires.

The best part is that once you have your PR application in progress, you can apply for something called a BOWP (Bridging Over Work Permit) which will allow you to remain in Canada and keep working until a decision is made on your PR application.

Hello, good people of the forum.

I have a few basic questions about the Express Entry process. I ask these questions, just to clear up confusion in my mind. ,

1) Once you complete the profile - can you update any information later (such as change of address, new passport#, etc.)?

Yes.

2) If you have selected 'All Provinces in Canada' - do you also need to select specific provinces?

Selecting 'All provinces' automatically suggests that you don't have a preferred province. You should be good IMO.

3) What do you do after you have uploaded the profile?

You wait until you receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA).

Do applicants who have a Canadian postgraduate degree need to do a WES evaluation for their undergrad for their express entry?
It is recommended that you do because you would get more points (provided the university / college you graduated from for your Bachelor's degree is recognized) but it is optional.

Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Please help me with my situation. I have done my BCA from Tilak Maharashtra Vidyapeth, Pune (Which is not registered in WES evaluation tool). Should i still apply through WES for my ECA or should i chose another agencies for the same. Is someone like me out there with the same issue which i am facing? Have anyone with a Bachelors degree from TMV done ECA through WES? Please help me :( I am so lost.
If your school isn't recognized, what's the point of applying an evaluation from them? You will get an ECA report that'll mention your institution isn't recognized and you won't get points for that.

You should try browsing other ECA issuing organizations to see if any of those recognize your institution.

Thanks for the detailed information! I am creating my Express Entry profile and I have a few questions:
  1. Under the education history section, should we update just the highest degree/diploma, or should we also update school, higher secondary details too?
  2. My work history consists of Business Development as well as Business Strategy in the same organization. Not able to find the best suitable NOC. Suggestions?
  3. After receiving ITA, apart from submitting the ECA, should we submit any other transcripts of our education?
Thanks in advance!
Mahesh

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Thank you so much.

If the CRS score is low (below 400), do you suggest to delete the profile and then apply for PNP separately?

Thanks !! I also got the similar information online from multiple forums. Hopefully, if someone gives his/ her first hand experience, that would certainly help.
