Hi all,

Need help with Work permit visa, I have got a job offer from an employer in AB, CA. Need help with filing my documents to Visa office in India.

CIC site have a different list of docs but Work permit instruction for Visa Office Instructions for: Bengaluru, Chandigarh, New Delhi as different.

For all Work Permit applications:
Evidence that you meet the requirements of the job offered:
 Proof of Education: Certificate, Diploma or Degrees including mark sheets;
 Proof of work experience: Copies of appointment letters and relieving letters from your current and previous employers, copies of salary slips and form 16; bank statements. Letters of reference must outline the duration and specific nature of your employment, including your exact duties on the job. Note: Contact name, address and phone numbers should be provided.
Proof of personal funds, including income tax returns for the past two years, bank statements or books from the past three months. Property documents or other proof of income or investments.

Can some one share what all is really required ?

As i can not get Letters of reference from current employer till i get my visa :)

Any leads will be appreciated.

Note: I have LRWS - 8.5,7,6,7 so CRS is not upto for getting into Express Entry as of now.

Hi,

Are there any instances ,where in they ask for bank statement or cross check our bank statement even though we have provide the payslips as a proof of experience.

Waiting for your valuable answer..
Thanks in advance!

Hello Experts,

I just got a LMIA-exempt ( intra company transfer, NOC Skill A) work permit through my company. I was wondering if I'll get additional 50 points in CRS for a valid job offer now or do I get those 50 only after I work for an year on NEW work permit OR PAST WorkPermit/experience will help .

Considering below situation - If I want to claim 50 points
1 - have worked in Canada for 2 years in the past ( say 1 year ago ) with NOC A and LMIA exempt (Intra-company transfer) Work Permit for Same employer.
2 - Now after 1 year I came back to Canada with NOC A and LMIA exempt (intra-company transfer) Work Permit again for Same Employer, new work permit is valid for two years approx.

Should CIC give me 50 points ?

Hello all, thanks for the good works here.

Please I need your help. I am a lawyer with masters in Law. Therefore I have three degrees, my bachelors degree (LL.B). Law School Degree (BL) and Masters Degree (LLM). However, for my express entry application, I did ECA only for my Masters degree (LLM) which is equivalent to Canadian masters degree.

My question is this, while filling the studies section in express entry profile, should i:

1. Fill my Masters degree only and say yes to ECA and don't fill my bachelors and law school degree OR

2. Fill all the three degrees but say Yes to ECA for my masters degree only and answer NO to my Bachelors and Law school degree.

Thanks for your kind response. I really appreciate you all.

Hi everyone , can anyone help me. I got my transcript from DU , but by mistake the seal was opened . What should I do? I was planning to get it verified from WES . Will they accept if I go and meet them and explain what happened? Plz help

They will not accept if the seal is not intact. I advise you to get the transcripts again.

Ideally ECA should be done for both Bachelors and Masters and in EE profile both degrees should be added. Did you get ECA done via WES? They do advise to send bachelor's degree as well if getting Masters evaulated.

I am not very clear with your question. Do you want to avoid submitting bank statements? You need to provide bank statements to show settlement funds, so in any case it needs to be submitted.

Yes, i did it via WES. and the report says my masters is equivalent to Canada's master's degree

Hello, My mother is 48 years old. She is a teacher from last 17 years. Can she apply for express entry? She is in India right now. I am currently studying in Canada at student visa from last 8 months.

If she gets selected from the express entry and gets the PR of Canada, can she come here get her PR card and go back to India? and start her teaching job again.

How soon is soon? :/ Maybe just maybe, I should try complying the required documents now and crossing my fingers to recieve ITA on the next draw (sitting at 444) I dont want to re do IELTS due to financial constraints.

Hi there friend,

I am sitting at 444 as well and deciding whether to take English test again or not. I am living in small city where I have to travel to nearby big city to take an exam.... (almost 500 dollars for rounding trip plus a test itself). Losing 5 points by age at the end of July... Was hoping to receive the ITA soon but no one can predict when the score will be down to our score.... Getting anxious every day and night. Hope the light will shed to our journey to become PR soon...

I have a question regarding which degree i should use for application.
My bachelors: Mechanical engineering
Masters: Petroleum Engineering
My work experience: Mechanical industry (Construction)
Please advise on which degree i should apply for express entry.
Is it necessary to have the same experience as the degree you use for application?
I will get extra points for master's degree but do let me know if you have had this situation and suggest what to do.
