hey, indeed. the BGC changed within a couple of hours to 'Background check is in process'. so this means R10 is clear and A11 is in process.

Its by no means an exact science, but I think it means R10 has started.

Hello Everyone !!!

I am seeking assistance regarding my express entry profile, I already submitted my express entry profile more than a month ago and I received my CRS score as well. I did not log into my express entry profile for a while as my CRS score is not too good.


This morning I log into my profile it’s still active but in my work history section it says IN PROGRESS. After clicking the work history I can see a new section called RESEARCH and in my work history it shows my primary NOC code and when did I qualify for it. But the employment history is totally blank.

Shall I put employment information again or it will be updated automatically. What shall I write in the research section?

Man , I am reading this thread from approximately last 2 year. Finally able to arrange ITA for my spouse. The credit goes to one & only to you man!
Here I got stuck on a point , I have posted in other thread but its still unanswered. May be you please help me. It goes like

I am having total 6 EE profile submission through 2 seperate GC key login. (4+2), over the span of 2 years.

Among 4 of 1st login , one got ITA; remaining 3 become ineligible due to changes in spouse accompanying/ not accompanying & changed IELTS status/Score.
3 ineligible EE profiles are having separate UCI Number.

In 2nd GC key Login , 2 EE Profiles, already withdrawn, having 2 UCI numbers.

Now I am ready with my documents to upload to the EE profile for which I got ITA.

I am highly confused with 5 UCI numbers. Does it going to hamper my chances for PR?

1. Time for submitting documents - You mentioned that after receiving ITA, we have 60 days to submit all documents. I think this time is 90 days to submit all documents. Please confirm.

2. International PCC - I am an INDIAN, staying in US from last 2 years. I got my PCC from FBI done in March 2017. I am yet to submit my profile in 3-4 days. Also, I am planning to visit India in the coming month of JULY 2017. I understood from your post, that if i will travel out from US, and comes back again, I need to get a new PCC from here ? Please confirm asap.

3. FUNDS - I understand that I can show my funds in the form of FD in Indian Bank accounts, Equity Shares in India (Demat form) and account balance in USD in US bank accounts. Is my understanding correct ?

2 - Your US PCC is valid for 6 months.

3 - Yes to FD and USD, no to shares.

And while traveling to India, I can get my PCC done from ther .. right ?

Hi, I worked for 5 companies but claimed points for only 2 jobs (because the other 3 were - one internship of 3 months, another job which I did only for 3 months , third one though was 1.5 yrs long it was not relevant to any NOC code), in short I did not need to report the other 3 because those were not relevant. I have received ETA and am in the process of completing eAPR. I see that in Personal History section they are asking for all details of last 10 years (which would mean I have to report all my jobs), so is it acceptable that some jobs are not reported in work history (only those for which I claimed points for are in work history) but are reported in personal history? or will they ask questions and/or reject my application? thanks a lot for your help.

The wait time for the notes is 30 days from the date of apply. this can be applied by Canada citizen, PR holders or person who currently in Canada- check the below for more info

2) No, you can't. For countries that are not your country of residence, PCC must be dated after the last day you were in that country.

My question is, would this date of issue be any grounds for a rejection? Is it possible to raise a CSE and upload a new PCC ?

I have had a recent realisation and it has got me a lil tensed.
my wife who is the primary applicant has 2 bachelors degrees (2006 and 2015) and 1 Masters (2008). in the ECA assessment the result was 2 bachelors degrees and 1 PG diploma. Now, as per CRS scoring 2 bachelors degrees count as 1. so we accordingly mentioned only the 2006 degree and 2008 diploma and got the score of 442. we submitted the documents for these 2 qualifications only and did not mention the third degree anywhere in the profile. do you think while referring to the ECA report they could raise an observation? it completely skipped from my mind that we got the ECA for 3 degrees.

1 - Why didn't you declare your trips?
2 - Yes it could lead to rejection.
3 - Yes you can raise a CSE.
