HI there,

I am a newbie so I hardly go through all hundreds of pages here. I've been searching information for weeks and still got something unclear.

Please anyone who has experience on Express Entry help me:

1/ If I am applying as Federal Skilled Worker, besides my skills are in type O, or skill A or B in NOC. Is it has to meet the list of job required by each State at the time I apply? If yes then what web for me to check this information?

2/ Do I need to get ECA for my certificates as FSW? If I have:

- Bachelor's college (3 years) and bachelor's university ( 1.5years) as same majority of accounting ( FYI: 1.5 year program is a continuous course to upgrade my college's bachelor).
- Master's degree (8 months) in Business Management.
- Certificate of Chief Human Resources Officer ( short-term program in 3 months)
Which one I should submit to WES?
3/ Do I also need to get ECA for my IELTS?
4/ My majority is accounting but my experience is in administrative and human resources. Is it a problem for my application?

Look forward to hear from you guys

Thank you

I have two UK degrees which were done in my home country(Sri Lanka). so when filling out the country of education should it be UK or Sri Lanka>?>?

1) Any occupation in type 0, A or B will do, however if you are getting Provincial Nomination they may be looking for specific skills.
2)Yes you have to get all qualifications you are claiming points for assessed. I would send my Masters and Bachelors but visit WES and do the free assessment. This will tell you which ones they recognize.
3)NO, IELTS results a good as they are. In addition, WES only assesses academic qualifications.

I'm in the same boat, I only went to the UK for my graduation.

Thanks TanakaM for your reply. I would like to add:

WES will evaluate all your degrees and diplomas within 1 (yes 1) application fee. They will give you Canadian equivalent for each degree you have and finally comment on your highest degree.

Yes, it does. You have to start with the most recent. It's just a shame that the site doesn't allow us to insert or move entries. It would be much more user friendly if it did.

I would suggest you list everything on a document and make sure you have everything before entering it into your application. It worked for me.

All the best

Thank you, I have everything copied in excel sheet. So should I start entering from the most recent and going towards past ?
Also, few personal activites are already copied there, so should I adjust that as well?

Yes you can, then reenter them in order.

An advice please.
I can collect some reference letters from my previous colleagues, people with whom I attended some courses and internships over the years. Do you think this kind of recommendations would be helpful when arriving in Canada? Will these be helpfull in securing a job, cosidering I have no Canadian experince? Will they be a plus for me or I should't bother ....
