Hello everyone,

I just want to know how long does it take to get PR once you submit application/revieved AOR. I am aware with the processing times according to Cic website but want to know from the personal experiences people had here.

Thank you

Look at the monthly threads! Raj is doing a great job maintaining the November 2016 AOR thread... But look at others to get a better idea.

Some people get it within 2 months while others wait over a year... It depends on several things, most of them we don't understand or know and the rest we can't control...

You can certainly take time-off and take a break from your profession, this will not have any impact on your application. As long as your application is complete and you have provided all the mandatory documents, then it is not necessary to retake IELTS. It is upto you if you want to retake it. No effort is ever wasted. All the best.

Thank You ....

Hi Seniors,

I have Canadian experience (from Jan 2013 to June 25th 2015) and while filling EE (pre-ITA) it asks and I quote :

While legally in Canada during this time ?
A person must have:
1. been working on a valid work permit or exempt from needing one,
2. had legal status the whole time they were in Canada, and
3. not stayed longer than the approved time period.

What should I answer to this question(yes/no) as my visa extension application got refusal on 25th June 2015 and I travelled back to my home country on 1st July 2015 and I didn't work from 26th June to 1st July.

If there was an option to select the date, I would have given the exact date but its in MM,YYYY format.
I am thinking of answering YES and post ITA, I would include refusal letter.

Please advise?

Would someone please try to address this, thanks in advance !

Answering 'YES' seems ok to me because it is valid till 25th June 2015 and EE form has timeline in MM,YYYY format.

Hello Guys

I received my ITA on 25th but because of some issues I opened a new EE profile in a hope that if i receive a new ITA with my new profile i would decline the ITA with older profile. Is there any way that they can cancel my current ITA if they know I have another active EE profile? My intentions are good but may b i m breaking some rules?

You'd be breaking immigration law: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=864&top=6

Hi guys,

If you manage to submit a letter from your bank as per CIC request with the same opening, closing and average 6 month balance (above minimum) would this be sufficient evidence or is there a chance they will ask for a full statement?

Does anyone have a sample letter?

regards

That's sufficient evidence but they can always ask for bank statements when processing your application.

Hello fellow members

How can i delete my profile that shows as ineligible (put 18,000 CAD instead of required amount for a family of 3)? Is there any way to delete it?

I am seeking help from wonderful members of this forum.

I have submitted my PR application few days back after receiving ITA but I submitted my application without PCC of South Africa(I stayed there one year), now I have received my PCC from of South Africa, now how can I submit it? I can not see any option to attach in my Express Entry profile.

A detailed response will save me.

Thanks a lot in advance.

Send a CSE (Case Specific Enquiry) and attach your PCC

unfortunately you cannot delete profiles in express entry, you can make a new one though!

You should not need to delete the profile, just edit the profile and update that part to reflect the actual funds you have... Wait for 24 hours and should be ok.

If you want to start again then you need to withdraw your EE profile and then you can create a new one.

Hello House,
I just got a news from a friend that Canada has approved a Lottery Visa like that of the United States and that it would commence from 1st of March, 2017.
I want to know if that's true please.
Thanks
