Express Entry in a nutshell

Hello,

I already had my Express Entry profile submitted but had to make some changes with the new questions being added for Canadian education. Meanwhile, I also received my PNP nomination and updated that question but the options are greyed out and I am unable to edit the response any longer. This is marking my profile incomplete and I’m not able to submit it. I already reported this technical issue but the response I got from CIC is of no help to fix it.

I wanted to ask if you know other people facing such technical issues? And will it be a wise idea to withdraw my profile and start a new one? I read that it is advised not to create a new profile so I just want to be sure that it will not impact my application in any sense.

My positive LMIA Job offer and previous work experience are different NOCs.

Express entry requirement is minimum 1 year work experience.

Do we need same NOC for work experience and positive LMIA job for EE profile ?

Hello guys,

I got my passports with COPR today
However, the province/city of arrival are mentioned as SK/Saskatoon, since I indicated the same while filling EE profile. I'm not a PNP but FSW outland applicant.

Does this means I have to land at Saskatoon first??

I believe "yes" because other people have reported here that if you land in any other city other than the one described then it may be a problem.
Is it mentioned on the document accompanying the passport or it's mentioned on passport itself?

Its mentioned only on COPR not on passports.
But I'm not PNP nominated to be bound for the specific province. It was just Indicated the preference while submitting profile.

Hello rajkamalmohanram,

Recently i read that Canada has removed four years cap system for temporary foreign workers, the four year cap system was for noc code with B , i am NOC code with A , initially it was 1 year gap after completing 5 years of working in Canada .

can you tell me the 5 year cap system for NOC A is also removed? or recent announcement is only applicable for NOC B.

Hello guys,

I am presently in a conundrum. I have received my nomination from Ontario and the ITA on Dec 2016 and I have selected my wife as non accompanying. The issue is I can't get my wife's PCC from Qatar as she had stayed there for few years. There is some bank loan foreclosure issue which would take time.

I have the following queries:

I know my OINP nomination is valid only for 6 months. Is there any possibility of extending it or if it expires what would be next step.

Your suggestions would be truly appreciated as I have no clue and just have to wait for the PCC

After accepting ITA, EE profile gets locked. So where further documentation is uploaded? Is there a separate mechanism, if it is not EE profile? I mean how e-submission is done without EE profile?

Can I change proof of funds amount after getting an ITA?
I Have mentioned that I have an amount equals to the sum od my apartment value n my bank account and I just knew that I can't add property valuation to my proof of funds.
I am afraid to mispresent myself If I change the amount after my ITA.
Also, did you know what is the financial report that we could submit n whether I can include my assets valuation to it ir not?

On my WES report, at the top my name is written as: SINGH, Sameer

Whereas, on my passport my Given Name is : Sameer Singh (There is no last name on my passport)

On my degrees my name is written as Sameer Singh. There is no first name and last name fields on any of my degrees or marksheets.


Will that be a concern coz my WES report mentions my name in a different way as compared to my passport.
While filling up my WES online form I put Singh in my last name because the last name field was mandatory to fill up.

Yes, after ITA the EE forms gets locked, but all the information in the EE forms gets carried forward to eAPR forms which you can edit and submit. Once you have completed each section, you will have the document checklist and placeholder to upload documents.

Generally, I have never heard OINP extending nomination validity, but I have heard about SINP. You can try writing to OINP.
