Hi, I received my Passport request(ready for visa) email yesterday.
From the letter received, This seems to be documents I need to submit.
1) Passport
2)2 Passport photographs
3) Copy of the email.
4)One self-addressed, pre-paid envelope with your complete mailing address so that we can return your passport(s) and Confirmation of Permanent Residence documents

I am little unclear about the last point. Anyone familiar with this?
Thank you
The last point means you include an envelope that is stamped and has postage paid for it with your complete mailing address on it, so they don't have to spend money returning your passport to you.

Hello Sirs,

My name is Ravi and I am new to this process of Canadian Immigration under EE. Me and my wife are yet to take IELTS but we would want to start the process with ECA done. Our qualifications are as follows:

Mine:
1). M.Tech in Control & Instrumentation-2 years (Rajasthan Technical University)
2). B.Tech in ECE-3 years (University of Rajasthan)
3). Polytechnic Diploma in Electronics-3 years (Board of Technical Education, Rajasthan)

My Wife:
1). MCA-3 years (Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya, MP)
2). B.Sc. in Computers-3 Years (Vikram University, MP)

I have following queries:
1). Should I get ECA done for all my qualifications?
2). Should I get ECA done for all my Wife's qualifications?
3). I checked on WES and found that Rajasthan Technical University and Board of Technical Educations are not listed there. What could be done in this case? Will it have any negative impact?
4). My Wife's Universities are listed in WES (atleast this is the good news) but her Bachelor's is shown as Community College Diploma as Equivalence to Canada in WES Degree Equivalency. Does this have some affect?
5). Can I get ECA done for me and my wife both in the same account on WES or I have to create separate applications?

Please help me clear my doubts.

I posted same questions in other post as well but no body replied. Please help.

Many Thanks
Still waiting for some answers from experts.... :(

Hi There,

Thanks for your advise.

You are right that I need to start working on improving my score, I have already enrolled for my next IELTS exam and targeting to score CLB 9, that will drastically increase my score around 450. But lets see, hoping for the best.

But in other scenario, do you think I can get selected in PEI PNP or ON PNP with my current score ?

Thanks

450 would be a very decent score and will probably get you a ITA in the following weeks (so no need for PNP) :)

ON PNP requires a minimum of 400 points on the CRS, so I as far as I know you are not eligible for one of those with your current score.

I've no idea about the PEI PNP... Some PNP require you to start the process directly with then (and not through EE), so watch out for that (I think that's the case for Alberta and may also be the case for PEI).

Best of luck next time you take the IELTS.

I have a question regarding filling out the Travel History post ITA.
I am an Indian citizen working outside India since the last 10 years. I started filling out the travel details based on the fact that India is my country of origin, so any travel outside India goes into my profile. For example:

01 Jan 2007 till 01 Jun 2007
India to Qatar for Employment (Company A)

01 Jun 2007 till 10 Jun 2007
Qatar to Dubai for vacation

10 Jun 2007 till 30 Sep 2007
Dubai to Qatar for Employment (Company A)

01 Oct 2007 till 31 Oct 2007
Qatar to India for vacation

Is this the correct way of entering travel history?
TIA

I am stressing about this process, as what if you don't have a job invitation as many employers are stipulating you must be residency Canada
:(

This is a good question, I'm also wondering about this! So far I've opted for the following format:

FROM TO Activity City or Town and Country Status in Country Name of Company, employer, school, facility, as applicable
2014-04 Present Working as Senior IT Consultant São Paulo - Brazil Citizen Employer: XYZ
2015-12 2015-12 Travelling on vacation Lisbon - Portugal Visitor Employed by XYZ at this time
2015-10 2015-10 Travelling on business Mexico City - Mexico Visitor Employed by XYZ at this time
2015-09 2015-09 Travelling on vacation Calgary, Toronto..- Canada Visitor Employed by XYZ at this time
2014-04 2014-04 Unemployed - Personal Time in between jobs São Paulo - Brazil Citizen N/A
2008-09 2014-04 Worked as IT Consultant São Paulo, Brazil Citizen Employer: XPTO
2013-10 2013-11 Travelling on vacation Miami - USA (+Caribbean) Visitor Employed by XPTO at this time
2012-12 2012-12 Travelling on vacation Miami - USA Visitor Employed by XPTO at this time

On the Schedule A Background Info they don't ask for the days, just months and years (YYYY-MM), so not sure including the day is necessary (but this may differ for a different form, so PLEASE read and follow the instruction on YOUR form). I also though it would be too extensive to do it your way (mentioning that you're back at the same employer after vacation or business trips) so I opted for creating just one entry for my employment and then putting all the international travel I did whilst employed for that company right underneath/after it. I'm not sure if this is correct, but to me to provides a neat and concise way of putting forward the requested information.

Can anyone give pointers on this format? Will it be OK? Is there a better one?

Dear all,
I have completed my express entry profile (Federal Skilled Worker), my CRS score is 346, waiting for Invitation to Apply.
My occupation is Elementary and kindergarten school teacher (NOC 4032). How can I get a provincial nomination to increase my score?
Do you know which province finds my occupation eligible?
Thanks in advance

I am not sure about other provinces, but for Ontario, you need to get a CRS score of at least 400 to get a PT Notification of Interest Letter.

The eligibility requirement for this occupation is
- A bachelor's degree in education is required.
- A bachelor's degree in child development may be required.
- Additional training is required to specialize in special education or second language instruction.
- A provincial teaching certificate is required. Additional certification is required to teach English or French as a second language.
- Membership in a provincial or territorial teachers' association or federation is usually required.

Additionally, you can check out this link http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/need-assistance-regarding-noc-4214-early-childhood-educators-and-assistants-t263999.15.html

You need reference letters for all the jobs that you are claiming points for. If you are NOT claiming points for your previous jobs, you need not submit letters for that.

If you were promoted but the NOC did not change, you can have it as a single entry in your work experience section and upload a single reference that mentions your roles and responsibilities and all the other required details.

For the resume, google "Canada Resume format" and use that. You can use any standard North American resume format. The resume is just another requirement. The entries need not be "exactly" the same.

Good luck!
Thanks Raj!!
Another Query :)
I was creating my express entry profile and had doubt regarding the education.
I have done the ECA for my 3 year BSc ( equivalent 4 years bachelors) and 2 year MSc ( equivalent 1 year post graduate diploma)
The question is shall I write period of study as 5 years and level of education two or more certificates, diplomas...
or shall i write it individually.
Cheers
