yes...that's what I am saying...the PCC issued was in June 2017....so technically I have a clear record till June. After that I visited India for only 3 weeks. Since I have been here in Australia I have visited India for a total of 130 days in 8 years...so was a bit confused...Less than 6 months in that place so if I went to France 6 times for a month even if they were years apart I'll need a PCC.

I requested a PCC coz as per CIC website u need a PCC from the country you have stayed since you are 18yrs old. At that age I was in India. I came to Australia when I was 26
this PCC thing has driven me crazy....then why did you request a PCC in the first place? I'm quite confused now
Who needs a police certificate?then why did you request a PCC in the first place? I'm quite confused now
Six months or more. read it word for word. Have you spent six months or more in India since you were 18?Who needs a police certificate?
In general, you and all the people in your family who are 18 or older need to get a police certificate.
You may need a police certificate from any country or territory that you have spent six months or more since the age of 18.
For example: if you visited, worked or lived in a country for two months, left for a few years, then returned for four months, that counts as spending six months there. In this case, you would need a certificate.
If you need a police certificate from a country or territory and:
- are currently living there, or received the police certificate before leaving, the police certificate must be issued within six months before you apply.
- have lived there in the past, the police certificate must be issued after you last lived in that country or territory.

dealing with the Police there is a nightmare....I had to get the Indian Consulate involved....help me...will have to do all that againIn total, it's cumulative.
ofcourse I was there for years......just coz I had to go for a family emergency post the PCC...will have to do all that again...So you spend 6 months or more in India since you were 18 or not?
Man I don't get why you're not answering my question. It's very simple.:dealing with the Police there is a nightmare....I had to get the Indian Consulate involved....help me...will have to do all that again
So you will have to get a new one AFTER you left the country. If you go back there again, you'll have to get it all over again.ofcourse I was there for years......just coz I had to go for a family emergency post the PCC...will have to do all that again...
