Hi,

Pl explain the process for Digital Photograph. An extract from the CIC website mentions the specs of the photograph but also mentions that one of the photographs must bear the name, date of birth of the applicant and address of the studio. So are we supposed to get the photographs printed and mention these details and then scan and upload?

Please guide.
those are 2 x separate photographs

what are you applying for currently ? are you filling post ITA form or you got PR letter already ? specs are different for both

Hello All,

I have a question about the ECA assessment for a friend who has a Masters from the US and the Bachelor's from India. Now for express entry do you think he needs ECA for both? Will this give him additional points? Please advise.

Thanks
Evaluation Profile will be created once, but you will need to share transcripts for both Bachelor's and Master's. Basis these two, they evaluate you as master's or bachelor's with multiple degrees....

Hello Guys,

Important question, can someone explain why MULTIPLE is written in front of Passport/Travel Documents and Police Certificates -

Passports/Travel Documents (Multiple) (required)
Proof of medical exam (required)
Education (diplomas/degrees) (required)
Employment Records (required)
Employment Records (required)
Employment Records (required)
Police Certificates (Multiple) (required)
Proof of Means of Financial Support (required)
Digital photo (required)

My assumption -
1. I travelled in 2013, and got new passport in 2016. Does it mean I need to submit copies of both passports ?
2. I am currently living in Delhi, India from past 6.5 years and before that I have lived in my home city throughout. Does this mean I need to provide PCC from both cities ?

Can someone please guide. I would really appreciate your valuable inputs. Thanks!
multiple is mentioned if you have 2 or more passports of different countries , like US and mexico, pakistan and UK etc... you just need to submit latest passport

just get PCC from passport offfice, thats general and is not tied to address... it is valid throughout india

true, but they still only want highest degree to be evaluated...

if highest degree comes back as masters, then no need to get bachelors evaluated

both questions are answered incorrectly gurdeep... :(
Sorry, that's the information I have got so far... I am still learning about it all... Apologies for creating confusion...

I have been living in Delhi and have applied PCC through Delhi Police and I had to give all the addresses where I have lived.... Moreover, even if we apply through Passport office, we still need to provide all the addresses where we have lived since last 10 years or eighteenth birthday, whichever is earlier... Additionally, it is again the regional police station that does the PCC on behalf of passport office...

regarding passport, I thought while they have asked for travel history then (assuming that one can have two passport owing to renewal etc.. ) one might have to provide the details of that passport too using which one has travelled... so in that sense it becomes multiple passports....

hope my understanding is correct....

The point is, if you have lived in multiple addresses in India and if your PCC mentions any specific address (and not all of them), then your application will summarily be rejected. This has happened a LOT of times till date.

However, PSK issued PCCs are not address/time specific. They do NOT mention any addresses or time periods. Hence, getting a PCC from PSK is the safest and the wisest option there is.

Help with this doubt... I have obtained PCC (though not submitted to IRCC yet ) from Delhi Police.. and they asked about all the addresses where I have lived since birth and the PCC copy that I received mentions them all...

Do you recommend to get PCC from passport office too, as this will mostly will not create any confusion regarding the address of residence...

You need only one PCC.

If your Delhi police issued PCC either mentions all the addresses you have lived in the past 10 years in India OR No addresses at all, then you are good to go. Otherwise, get a PCC from PSK.

In your case, looks like the former is true so you are good to go with this.

Hello People,

Got ITA and about to submit my e-application.

Two doubts -

1) I am working for the same company since last 8 years. Is it enough if I upload my appointment letter, every promotion and appraisal letter?
Every appraisal letter states my salary for the coming year.
Do, I also need to upload my salary slips? There will be a total of 96 pay slips (8*12) for my entire employment duration. :-[

2) For POF, my father is gifting me money along with a gift deed. Is it okay if I file my application immediately after receiving funds in my account or shall I wait for some weeks and try to maintain some average? Will that matter somehow?

Please advise.
Thanks in advance. Smiley

you need a letter from your employer which clearly states your roles and responsibilities in the company... thats far more important.
that letter should also show how much salary you are earning per month. Pay slips for last 3 months should be OK in my opinion.

it doenst matter - you can apply immediately if you want once you get the funds.

Please advise.
Thanks in advance. Smiley

Thank you. I think this is right as well. I checked on the CIC website that having a Master's degree gives the highest points for education and hence ECa for that should suffice. Bachelor's or two or more degrees, still fetches less points than a Masters.
Rajkamalmohan, am I right here. Can you please confirm.

Thank you

Unable to see my application since this morning !! Job Bank account got deactivated.

Hi, I received an ITA on March 1st 2017 for my express entry profile (E000790xxx and CAN0000xxxx). I have started completing my application which has a expiry date of May 31st 2017. All of a sudden today when I logged into my account, I am unable to see the application to fill in details. I am worried about the application and would like to know any reasons for this.

I tried "Link application to this account", but unable to find the application using the details. In my ITA it says permanent Residence under Federal Skilled workers, so I tried looking under the same but of no use. I have written an email for CIC, tried contacting them but no response. I did try doing clear cache and cookies but its of no use. I tried doing a linking up my application, which found my old express entry profile which was ineligible because I didnt had my wes evaluation done. But right after that I created another express entry which got an ITA and system is unable to find it. I tried 5times and I am blocked now from further tries.

Also on side note my job bank profile was inactive and just checked that it went to deactivated state. Does that have to do anything with this? Do I have to keep it active during my ITA?? I activated it but not sure if it resolves issue as I still cannot see my application

Hi Team,

Since I have got ONIP nomination, I would like to prefer to process my PR as ONIP candidate. Can you please confirm that if I withdraw my current ITA, will EE profile getting unlocked and it come to the active pool again.

Most probably, In next CIC draw, I would be picked. Can you please suggest regarding this.
