Hi Guys,

Pl help with regards to PoF

My wife is the primary applicant while I am a dependent. We are both currently working in India.

We meet our daily expenses etc from my salary and save hers' in her bank account. We have some 18000 CAD saved in her account till now and I transferred some 600 dollars from my account to hers' over the last 2 months (so we have just about enough funds needed for a family of 3). Besides this my spouse has some 3000 CAD in the EPF account which we would show.

My question is would the visa officer raise a question on the 600 CAD that I transferred to her account? (the reason is although I have 4000 CAD in my account I have a Home Loan, Car Loan and a small Personal loan which I took 2 years back that I pay for out of my salary account)

Pl guide if I need to show my bank statements as a dependent while my spouse has the necessary funds in her account.

>> Not at all, you are a dependent and you can show your money also as POF.

>> Not required if she has enough in her name.

if i remember correctly during my time in the UK, you can only legally work 20 hrs a week on student visa... if you claim 32 hrs a week, you will be in trouble. that i'm pretty certain of

That is why I am a bit concerned. I was allowed 20 hrs per week and full time during vacation. But on my reference letter it is clearly mentioned I worked 32 hrs per week along with other responsibilities. So please advise whether to include this experience or not?

Guys,

I have all my documents available and ready to submit the e-APR. But my USA visitor visa is expiring next month and I just got an appointment for its renewal application on 24th April. I fall into the interview waiver program so I do not have to give any interview but put my application in dropbox. However, it will still take 7-10 business days for me to get my passport back with USA visa stamped.

My concern is...

1) Do I submit my e-APR without waiting for USA visitor stamp on my passport?

2) Do I wait a few more days (my deadline for accepting the ITA and submitting application is 24th May) and once I get the USA visitor visa stamped, scan that too and submit my application?

Which of these two options is correct?

And If I submit my e-APR without waiting for USA visitor visa, do I need to then inform the CIC of this update? Someone told me that its not required. Only if we travel somewhere outside of country of residence then we need to update the CIC with travel history.

A quick answer on this will greatly be appreciated!

Thanks!

i'm not even sure why you are getting worked up :) its just a visit visa, if it was a work visa , i could have understood.

just submit the e-APR without US visa, it doesnt matter.

and no need to inform iRCC regarding your travel plans, you can travel wherever you feel like, however make sure if you change residence countries, then you have to inform them.

also for US visa - if you have stayed there for more than 6 months overall, you need to provide PCC (I'm sure you are aware :))

Well clearly it does not seems right so you should not mention it in your work experience.

Hi,

There is no problem, as this is common. Explain this in the LOE and get her to sign a notarized one and the same person affidavit. Here is a sample:

Yea, that letter from the office will do. Have them mention "Canada visa" without the specifics if possible. You can submit the letter from your supervisor - I would strongly recommend that you get this letter notarized. This along with the other documents should be enough as long as it mentions all the details.
