Hi everyone!
I filed my application back in June and received AoR same day.
Since French is my first language I felt more comfortable setting it as my preferred language for IRCC communication and submission, even though I plan on settling in Victoria, B.C.
Do any of you guys know if this could delay my application timeline? I figured from my previous calls to IRCC that call center agents are close to perfectly bilingual, but I’m wondering if internal agents and officers are as well, or if the French-speaking workforce is limited...
I appreciate your comments on the matter and wish everyone good luck in this journey.
Regards,
