Express entry forgein police certificate issue time

Dear expert,
I request a police certificate from my home country on Jan 20, 2016. And I got my ITA on Feb 10，is the police certificate valid for CIC?

Also, do I need a police certificate from Canada?

Police certificate is valid if you have not entered that country again post it's issue date.
I did my Canadian PCC upfront but it is not mandatory. If CIC requires it, they will let you know.

I forgot to mention that I currently live in Canada.
I also heard that CIC doesn't not require PCC to be issued within 3 months during the application. Is it correct?

It is only true for the current country where you are living that PCC should not be older than that. For previous countries, PCC should be issued after your last visit to that country.
