Hi all,
I am completing my 3rd co-op term (continuous & paid) and I am aware co-op experience may count towards EE - Federal Skilled Worker.
I was going over the requirements at https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/eligibility/federal-skilled-workers.html#minimum, but couldn't find details for these two requirements from official sources,
1. at least 1 year of continuous work or 1,560 hours total (30 hours per week)
Total duration of my co-op is 11 months (46 weeks), but total hours is more than 1560. My schedule is 35 hours per week and will it cap at 30?
2. was paid by wages or commissions
I am probably overthinking this one, but - I am paid salary for my co-op, not wage/commission. Does it draw distinction between wage and salary?
Finally, just a general question for those who've done co-op that's long enough for FSW, did you end up opting for FSW or CEC? and why? Thanks in advance.
