I have applied for express entry on december 2021 and had a score of 471. During that time I had a work experience of 2yrs but now it is 3yrs after over 6 months. Do I need to update it as it is my current job? My score will rise to 496 with 3yrs experience but would my profile be in backlog for editing now?

Yes, you can always update your profile every now and then as and when your status changes or with anything you want to update with. So go ahead in doing so.
no, the update is automatic. you dont have to do anything. I was in the same situation as you 2 years ago. and no it wont take time to update because the system does the points calculation based on the information you input into your profile
