Friends: Important Info - Cross check / follow up everything with VFS.


I submitted the passport on yesterday, 1st Mar 2017 for sending it to High Commission of Canada, New Delhi for PR visa stamping.

Today, morning I received the following email informing that my passport is forwarded to Bangalore which is a serious mistake.

Raised this issue with VFS to confirm that my passport was forwarded to High Commission of Canada, New Delhi and not Bangalore.

Usually, the stamping is done at NDVO and not at Bangalore. So, it would be alarming for anyone to see that their PP is being sent to a place where no one has reported stamping for PR applications till date.

finally first update without email notification after an AOR on Dec 12
review of submitted documents : no additional document needed (from blank)
bg check : not started (from not needed at this time)
medicals still not needed at this time same as at the time of AOR.

As directed, I uploaded my passport(Indian) with my application. However, I missed the particular page of my passport which bears the seal(stamp) which indicates that PCC has been issued with date.

I just uploaded first two and last two pages of my passport.
It struck my mind now while chatting with fellow aspirants over Feb17 AOR whatsapp group.There are quite a few who have done the same in group. Your advice would be of help to a lot of us.

Has any FSW outland applicants among you been through the same?

I am trying to seek advice from folks who have been in this situation and received PPR/cleared BGC by now.

P.S. I am an FSW outland from India with no travel history abroad.

i dont think it will be an issue, but if you are uncomfortable - raise a CSE request with the stamp on the passport

Not sure if Anyone is interested tracking post PPR; we submitted our Passports this morning to the Pretoria VAC - 24 Feb. Will keep posting updates until we have Passports with the Immigration VISA.

In my GCMS it's mentioned that province of nomination just below the PNC no that it's NL not ON.

What shall I do about this? Shall i notify them or just wait for their action later.

I feel that FSW-Outlands are processed with a lot of delay as compared to PNPs, CEC ,LMO etc. My application is not moved at all except medicals. I am very nervous.

What is ur opinion??

Thank you dear for following up! Can you please tell when your status changed to approved? How many days after you sent the documents? I sent my passport on Monday and still the same. Does it change after you received the visa?

Yep, same here. No movement at all since the medical passed. Seems like CIC has forgotten us.
