I got my BOWP approved today , but my Backgnd Chk still showing "IN Progress". Isn't this weird, as the bowp got approve only the R10 completes and the backgnd checks actually changes from NN to IP and thn back to NN as per trend.

Your thoughts please.

Well, nothing to worry about, actually congrats for the BOWP.

however yes, you are right usually R10 is done when BG goes back to NN.
But of course with CIC everything and anything is possible. Some got PPR with only one BG change i.e. NN--IP.

Hey my AOR is Dec10 and still everything is not needed. So don't worry we are sailing in same boat.

If you are PNP-I, that is very very normal because many of us are waiting for the first update.

I called CIC today and they told me my application is still at very very early stage. IMO, it is just backlogged for some reason. Wish our case could be processed and see med pass next month.
