I think so, as long as it is valid. But I'm not sure. Have you try to create entry profile?

You will need LMIA-supported job to qualify for the 600 points.

I haven't been in the system yet, but I think it will ask for a LMIA number and without that it won't give you the point.

I have some question to you if you don't mind. In completing the express entry profile do they ask to scan the job offer and the LMO? Or they only need that during the process of PR application in CIC? Do we need to a new job offer to our employer or the old one will be fine, the one which the employer give to us when we are signing a contract. Your response is highly appreciated.

I am currently working here in Canada, work permit under positive LMO valid until end of this year. I created my EE profile using my LMO number and the system accept it and gave me 600 points.

Sorry for delay as long you have old work permit valid just entre it in express entery so you will claim 600 point good luck

Does anyone know if the system validates the LMO/LMIA number when creating the EE profile? Has anyone tried a incorrect number and error response?

I am currently working here in Canada, work permit under positive LMO valid until end of this year. I created my EE profile using my LMO number and the system accept it and gave me 600 points.

Let's see if CIC accepts it later, when you will need to prove your points if you get ITA.
