Hello people,
I applied for express entry since March this year and had a total of 354 for my CRS scores. But recently, it dropped to 348, and i don't know why. Pls what can i do to increase my CRS scores and also receive an ITA? Being apply for jobs through the Job Bank. What more can I do? My IELTS will expire by 26th of this month. Thank you.

That drop could be cause your age?
To improve this score, i would get higher IELTS and Education.

Thank you.
Do you mean I would have to sit for another IELTS, since the one i applied with will be a year by 26th of this month?

Improve IELTS score, IELTS has a major role in boosting your CRS score. Use this calculator to see the impact that higher IELTS can have on your CRS score http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp.

What Ignacio meant was that you likely had a recent birthday, turning 33. The older you get, the fewer points you will receive for the age score. The reduction by 6 points is because you are no longer 32 years old. Nothing you can do about that.

In regards to IELTS:

Your IELTS test is valid for two years, not one.

But as Stanlee suggested, your scores aren't very good and it may be a good idea to retake the IELTS regardless to improve your scores. Obviously, you need to study hard prior to the test to make sure you will be able to obtain a better result.

Yes, that's it! I am preparing to improve my IELTS and studying a master so in a few months i expect to get more points!

Okay, thank you so much.
I also want to know if applying for jobs through the job bank will help improve my score, or my last bet is to retake the IELTS? What are the chances that I would even get a job offer?

Your chance of securing a job offer is practically zero.

But if you do manage to get a LMIA-supported job offer, you would receive 600 additional CRS points.

Thank you Istari.
If you don't mind, would you pls enlighten me the more on LMIA. Thank you

Chisom specifically asked about securing a job through the Job Bank.

Hello people,
I've gone through the link and it's mostly about the employer and the processes they have to go through to higher a Temporary Foreign Worker. How about where the job seeker/foreigner can check for these positions or jobs, and then apply for them?

That's not really how it works. Generally, you find a job offer in Canada, then convince the employer to get an LMIA for you.
Otherwise, try googling "LMIA jobs [city you're looking at working in]", and try your luck on the job sites that come up.
