Hi Guys,
I have some questions related to express entry application, I will give a little summary here of my profile.
  • I arrived in Canada in Sep 2015,
  • Completed my Comp Sci Master's degree in 2017,
  • Started full-time 1 yr contract job as Programmer/Analyst (NOC A job) on Dec 2017, renewed the contract and it will end on 3rd Dec 2019,
  • I have approx 3.5 yrs Web Developer foreign experience,
  • IELTS score: Total 7, Reading/Listening 6.5, Writing 6, Speaking 8
  • My spouse is here with me in Canada (she is not a PR or Citizen) and she has a foreign Master's degree and no Canadian or foreign work experience.
Here are some questions which are unclear to me, URL for CRS score calculator link
2) ii. Will your spouse or common-law partner come with you to Canada?
She is already here in Canada, I think it's YES in my case ?

7) Do you have a certificate of qualification from a Canadian province, territory or federal body?
I have Master's degree from Canadian university, I think it's NO in my case ?

8) Do you have a valid job offer supported by a Labour Market Impact Assessment (if needed)?
I have a renewed one year contract job on my post grad work permit, does this count as valid job offer.

Qa) To prove foreign work experience, is there a specific format I have to use for the experience letter ?

Qb) To prove wife foreign education level, I will have to get her degree Assessed from ECA, how much time that can take ?
Kindly clarify these question and feel free to ask me any questions.

Is your wife already a PR/Citizen? If not, then the answer is Yes, because she will be added to your application.

7. No
8. No (you need an LMIA)
Qa) no specific format
Qb) ECAs take 2-3 months on average.

Yes my wife is not a PR or Canadian citizen

  • Can I get it from my current employer or future employer after being employed ?
  • I think it's for more points or Is it necessary ?
  • I think asking for LMIA would be difficult,as it takes few months and some fee to get it, and since my contract expires in 5 months, doesn't look like my employer would be interested

Any employer, you just need a valid LMIA + job offer. If you can find an employer willing to get an LMIA and offer you a job (at least 1 year long, full time), then you can get points.
