Hi all,

I am an Indian national currently working in Singapore (for about 2.5 years). I have 1 year of Canadian experience (May 2011 - June 2012).

1. CRS Section C. Skill Transferability factor - Foreign work experience – With Canadian work experience:
When they mention 3 or more years of foreign experience, does that include the Canadian experience? I have 2.5 years in Singapore and 1 year in Canada. Do I get 25 points or 50 points. Excluding this my CRS stands at 425. I am yet to create to create my express entry profile (awaiting wes evaluation).

2. What kind of documentation is required to prove my Canadian experience. I only have the CAQ and the visa stamping. I don't remember my SIN and I do not have the tax documents either.

Thanks in advance for any your time and effort spent on reading and responding to my post.

Regards

You cannot count your experience working in Canada as foreign work experience

So should the experience be foreign to Canada, or foreign to me?

If foreign to Canada, I have around 4.5 years in India, so will they take it as more than 3 years plus 1 year of Canadian?

Yes, if you have 4.5 years of work experience in India and 1 year in Canada then you get skills transferability points for 3+ years of foreign experience and 1 year of Canadian experience.
